So, today I was taking a shower, and I reached down south to give my bits and pieces a bit of a wash. Next thing I know, my finger is aimlessly wandering around the back door, and it started to intrude into my no-fly zone, if you catch my drift. Funny thing is, I enjoyed it.

I'm very close to walking upstairs and kicking my roommate's face in. And his girlfriend's. And his friend's. Since, you know, they all live up there. In the one bedroom apartment.

I don't understand how they can be so fucking loud.

I remember those good ol days bogey in college. I live with my best friend now but his girlfriend pisses me off to NO end. Seriously, I've NEVER seen someone watch as much TV as her. What really upsets me about her is I'll sometimes get home from class at like 9, 9:30 or 10 and she won't get off the TV until midnight. So I have to find a way to kill between 2 and 3 hours so I can watch a movie. Dumb broad just WON'T do something else with her life!

I'm far too bored to go to bed. It's like I physically can't get up from the seat.

I think watching movies is alot differant than watching TV. There is some good television, but the majority of it is crap, and it's mostly about ratings and business. A self-respecting film is about art, and is there to reach an accomplishment for the film-maker and audience alike. Most television just seems to be there to benefit the producers by exploiting its audience.

Film is art. Television is an exploitation of that art, in most cases.

Actually, we did!! I've been fighting the stomach flu, so I skipped it, but it was on the table.

Glad that he took the deal. I hate when they get greedy and end up losing. Actually, I'm glad when the happens, because they deserve it.

Has anyone ever had the dilemma of telling someone EXACTLY how they feel about them and as a result, are hated by that person now? I have this manager at my work who does absolutely NOTHING! She doesn't ring customers up, doesn't answer the phone (because 50% of the time it's for her, i.e. family members), doesn't check movies in, doesn't run movies, etc. Basically, when I'm there with her, she's WORTHLESS! Now, I've known this woman for a couple of years and like her as a person (I have no beef with her). But I hate working with her. Long story short, I was telling a fellow coworker what I've just said about how she does nothing and I guess she overheard me because now she won't even talk to me. It doesn't bother me that much because I am SO done with Blockbuster (I should only have another 3 months and then I'm out). But, has anyone in a similar situation felt better that they were finally able to express themselves, or did you feel bad about possibly losing that person as a friend?

I thought that a friend of mine was just hooking up with a girl we both knew through work, that he wasn't serious about her. When I told him that I thought she was rather stupid (I believe I referred to her as dumber than dirt), and when he denied that she was stupid, I said, Dear God, her bra size is bigger than her IQ!

And then he told me that they had eloped over the weekend.

True. It's one thing for you to tell her privately what you think of her; it's far more damaging for her to overhear you yelling someone else.

While I can't recall doing this myself, I have put my foot in my mouth on more than one occasion. About ten years ago, I was having lunch with a few colleagues and clients in a popular, crowded restaurant where all the lunch selections were named after Pennsylvania politicians and celebrities. We were discussing the names when I jokingly referred to a particular judge, who had frequently ruled against us, by saying, "They should have a 'Judge Steele' on the menu...two big buns filled with a lot of baloney."

The immediate facial reactions of those at the table facing me let me know something was not right. Judge Steele had entered the restaurant after us with a group of other judges and was sitting at the table directly behind us. In fact, the backs of our chairs were literally touching.

I'm pretty sure he had heard me, but he never mentioned it, nor did he ever hold it against me.

As many of you know by now, I do suffer from severe foot in mouth disease. It's that damned Sicilian temper of mine.
