Even though I'm not attending this year, I just want to say for anyone who has doubts about meeting people from the internet, and may be understandlby hesitant, in this case, don't be.

I can tell you that this is a really nice group of people who you'll feel comfortable with right away. I can gaurantee you'll have a nice time.

For especially those on the East Coast, if you're within a reasonable distance from this meet, at least meet for dinner. I'm sure you won't be sorry.

Its going to be an old shitty car that my boss at work is giving me a deal on.. and I probably shouldn't drive it to Jersey in it. And its not even a sure deal yet.

But I think it'd totally be worth it. I'm sure I'll be fine. (famous last words.)

Hopefully I will go, in about 10 years when i can emmirgrate with my qualifications(hopefully!).

I just had the contract emailed to me today, so I haven't sent it back to the hotel. I know that the contract has a phone number that you need to call for the reservation. I don't know if it's different than the standard hotel number. I want to read over the contract and contact the woman back in the Sales Office at the Hyatt.

Great News Everyone!!! The Hyatt sent me an email, voluntarily lowering their rates!! JG- Is there any way to highlight this?? I believe it's also under "Small Family Reunion", which is slightly different than what I had told you.

That's a great price, they did the equivalent of taking off the tax which is very helpful. So for a single room it will be 125 after all is said and done as opposed to 129 + tax (a $25 savings) as it would have been if they didn't help us out.

DC - That was great!! I watched GF2 with my daughter for the first time a few weeks ago and she almost laughed herself silly over that scene with the landlord. It was my dad's favorite scene, too, so you got some SERIOUS points with that one!!
