The duty of a Consigliere, A Capo and a soldier is to make sure that the Don gets his "tribute" in the form of money from the family business that he owns. From the earner right on up to The Don through the chain of command.
I think that you may need to pop on over to the Real Life Mafia thread from time to time so that you can learn how a mob family is supposed to be run and what the duties of the members of that family are in trying to make money for The Don!
But then again, it's not really your fault because "Pappa never discussed business at the dinner table."
