I just love running into an old flame you haven't seen for over a year. I was only with this guy for a couple months, but it ended a little over a year ago. I see him walking my way and try my dardnest to pretend I didn't see him. When I hear this, "Hey Beth, can't you say hi". The thing is the guy is pushing a baby stroller with a girl about one year old. Then he gives me, "Meet my daughter Katarina". I do my best to act the role of a lady and give the "Aww..she's adorable". When I really felt like saying she's about the ugliest kid I've ever seen..haha. Ok...he splits about a year and a half ago...and now has a daughter about a year old. Hmmmmm.. The more I walk away the more he keeps up the chit chat. Then the dog had the nerve to invite me to an Oriole game. I felt like saying I'm not a ho.

I had to go to the doctor today because I have a clogged sweat gland in the bottom of my foot. Mr. Babe's priceless comment? "That's the most disgusting thing I've ever heard."

Sadly I can't speak from experience but I'm sure the good doctor would never think ANYTHING disgusting about the births of your kids.

Dunno why, but that stuff is hard to see/hear.

When in college I met a pretty gal and we were hitting it off fairly well. We were drinking and in a giddy mood so we started showing each other our scars and injuries (laughing as we were doing so). After going back and forth a few times she peeled off her shoe and showed me a hole in her foot (about a ½" deep). I looked at it, the room started getting dizzy and I puked all over her. (I tried to apologize to her the next day but she yelled, "Get outta here before I take off my shoe again").

Hope you're up and around very soon. It's never easy having discomfort, but when it "slows" you down, at least for me, I find that particularly irritating. You know, like a bad back, or broken leg, feet problems. I'm pretty much a fast mover and when I have to walk at a snail's pace it's really hard for me to accept that my get-up and go got up and went.
