I enjoyed RED DRAGON, just on the same end-result of passable, but forgettable, entertainment as Michael Mann's MANHUNTER.

The way my **1/2 reviews work, if MANHUNTER or RED DRAGON came on cable TV, I would probably end up watching it. Sure I wouldn't put them in serious rotation on my DVD machine, but I still enjoy them in a passing fashion.

It was a toss up for me between Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon but I gave Red Dragon the nod because I remember walking into the theater expecting a great movie, and I was not disappointed in the least. But a case can be made for both films I think.

Almost Famous was on TV last night, and this morning.. and I missed it both times. I've never gotten to sit all the way through it I don't think. So I marched through a blizzard and bought it for 9 bucks.

Two crappy movies made from the PUNISHER comics. This was the first to make MARVEL comic book fans suffer

Still, you admit to paying $5.50 for it. That's guts.

Can't wait for you to proudly pass around CADDYSHACK II.

I've never seen the original Punisher and for $5.50, I'll live with it. And I don't even own the original Caddyshack so I wouldn't anticipate on me getting the sequel anytime soon

Out of the turds you seem to pick up, you don't own Caddyshack?!

Hey, how's it going?

Hey, Caddyshack is no turd.

Honeymoon In Vegas is a favorite of mine. You gotta love Johnny Williams as Johnny "Sandwich". I thought he'd be forever typecast as Johnny "Roast Beef" but I guess he can really stretch himself artistically.

Seriously though, I love that movie.

I know it's not a turd. But he seems to pick any random turd he finds in a bargain bin, so what the hell.

Yeah, I can't pick on him though, I'm the same way.

I can't refuse the 3 for $10 turds at K-Mart either. I got more friggin movies that I've never even opened than you would believe.

I actually bought THE CANNONBALL RUN "collection" the other day.

Yikes!

Trust me, as is the case in movies that I've yet to see, there are TONS of DVDs that I've yet to own that I'd like to. Give it time

Well, I know Irish is proud of his Dolph The Nugget Lundgren find in the Walmart DVD $5.50 bargain bin. But he can do so much more. Fellow diggers, here is what I've found over the years:

So many, but I won't include such turds as Jean Claude Van Damm's infamously crappy CYBORG. No, I bought it to see how bad it was. Yes, its true.

The movie wasn't bad and featured a young mel Gibson. The studio that is putting out this release is Image which is also the one that put out Combat with the late Vic Morrow so the release should be a good one as comapred to the first studio that put Z out, Jef Films[the picture and sound were awful.

DP, since Irishman won't tell you, I think he and I have the same problems with BLOOD DIAMOND, which sets itself up as a social message movie(message? It sucks to live in Africa) only to become instead a proxy for a meh action movie set inside a melodrama. By the credits, you just don't give a s*it who dies or whatever.

You're supposed to be outraged(since you know, it sucks to live in Africa) but one is given reason to seriously care.

Its not a bad movie. Hell DP, you might even like it. Its just to my eyes, senses, and nose, the movie is flatter than a young girl's chest. Of course I didn't care for LAST SAMURAI either, and some BB.Net folks enjoyed it, so it depends...

BLOOD DIAMOND (2006) - **1/2
