OK, you're a cheapskate!! The reason that the wine dinner was such a good buy at Cite, is that you could order any appetizer, entree and dessert off the menu, PLUS you got 4 separate wines with dinner (a champagne, a white and two reds). Usually the waiter would pour you each a glass, and then leave the bottle on the table, so it wasn't just a glass of each wine either. And it was all price fixed, so we always made sure to order the most expensive of each course.

I'd definitely like to see Dominic Chianese $200/night to stay, tho... who wants to split a room so I don't have to drive home?
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

Uncle Junior puts on a really good show. I saw him last fall there. Can you get autographs afterwards?

Cite has lost it's lease? Oy! Paul is rolling over in his grave. At least I'm glad I was able to go there once.

Ok, after reading about DMC's experience at Nova Terra, which didn't seam negative in any way overall, it seems as though the style of food and may NOT be suitable for everyone attending the gangsterbb weekend. Personally I have no problem with going to Nova Terra, but I am trying to consider the tastes of ALL that are attending. I heard about this place through a friend of mine, so I thought, in the best interests of the group as a whole, I would throw this restaurant out there for possible consideration. It may be more suitable to the tastes of everyone as there seems to be a much larger variety to choose from along with a style of food that may be more appropriate and appealing for everyone. =========================================================== SIR JOHN'S RESTAURANT (click on name to go to website) Dinner MenuAppetizers - ColdJumbo Shrimp - $7.95 Oysters On The Half Shell - $6.95 Little Neck Clams On The Half Shell - $5.95 Mozzarella & Prosciutto - 6.95 Appetizers - HotFried Calamari - $7.50 Chef Special Appetizer - $8.95 Shrimp Scampi Romano - $8.95 Baked Oysters Rockefeller - $7.50 Baked Clams Casino - $6.95 Artichoke & Roasted Peppers - $6.50 SoupsSoup Du Jour - Ask your Server French Onion Soup Au Gratin - $3.50 SaladPortabella Mushrooms - $7.95 Mozzarella Salad - $6.95 Caesar Salad Chicken & Roasted Peppers - $4.50 Chicken EntreesChicken Roasted Peppers - $14.95 Chicken Francaise - $14.95 Chicken Dijon - $14.95 Chicken Milano - $14.95 Chicken And Shrimp Tarantino - $18.95 Baked Stuffed Chicken - $16.95 Chicken & Wild Mushrooms - $15.95 Veal EntreesVeal Saltimbocca - $17.95 Veal Cordero - $17.95 Veal Palermo - $17.95 Veal Sorrentino - $17.95 Beef EntreesFilet Mignon - $22.95 Petite Filet Mignon - $17.95 Filet Mignon Tips - $16.95 Steak Au Poivre - $19.95 New York Sirloin Steak - $18.95 Seafood EntreesPan Sautéed Filet Of Sole - $16.95 Stuffed Filet Of Sole - $17.95 Tilapia Julienne - $15.95 Salmon Mediterranean - $17.95 Broiled Lobster Tails - $36.95 Surf And Turf - $35.95 Shrimp Scampi Romano - $18.95 Scallops & Shrimp - $20.95 Broiled Seafood Combo - $25.95 Broiled Scallops - $23.95 Sea Scallops Dijonnaise - $23.95 Seafood Fra Diavolo - $20.95 Blackened Seafood Combination - $18.95 Seafood Mediterranean - $20.95 Pasta EntreesTerre E Mare - $16.95 Penne & Broccoli Florets - $12.95 Tortellini Florentine - $13.95 Bow Tie Pasta with Fresh Mozzarella - $14.95 Angel Hair Pasta With Three Cheeses - $11.95 Linguini Pasta And Sun-Dried Tomatoes - $13.95 Penne Pasta And Anchoves - $12.95 Oriental Stir-Fry EntreesVegetable - $10.95 Beef - $14.95 Chicken - $12.95 Shrimp - $17.95 Chicken & Shrimp - $15.95 ============================================================= This restaurant has gotten some really excellent reviews. Thanks a bunch DC for looking out for everybody. And also for DMC to check out all these places. I appreciate it. A menu I understood Yea!! As far as Sir Johns being 15 min. away isn't Frank's Deli the same distance away?

I'm pretty sure that short of returning to La Veranda, I will never have such an excellent and enjoyable meal. And don't forget Frankie. He was the best waiter.
