OK, you're a cheapskate!!

The reason that the wine dinner was such a good buy at Cite, is that you could order any appetizer, entree and dessert off the menu, PLUS you got 4 separate wines with dinner (a champagne, a white and two reds). Usually the waiter would pour you each a glass, and then leave the bottle on the table, so it wasn't just a glass of each wine either. And it was all price fixed, so we always made sure to order the most expensive of each course.

Geoff, I have to believe that they servve Jumbo Colossal sized Shrimps for that price.

I'll tell ya SB. It's a chain, but when I'm at my place in Florida, The Macaroni Grill in Boca Raton, works on the honor system. They put bottles of decent house wines on the table, then they trust you to let them know how many glasses you had. The food is actually better than you'd expect, too.

Uncle Junior puts on a really good show. I saw him last fall there.

Can you get autographs afterwards?

Hilton.com has it for $189. Probably can do better as you get closer.

The food is good.

We've had dinner there many times. Not to mention the parties that I've booked there along with the mother's day brunches and Easter sunday dinners.

Cite has lost it's lease? Oy! Paul is rolling over in his grave.

At least I'm glad I was able to go there once.

Ok, after reading about DMC's experience at Nova Terra, which didn't seam negative in any way overall, it seems as though the style of food and may NOT be suitable for everyone attending the gangsterbb weekend. Personally I have no problem with going to Nova Terra, but I am trying to consider the tastes of ALL that are attending.

I heard about this place through a friend of mine, so I thought, in the best interests of the group as a whole, I would throw this restaurant out there for possible consideration. It may be more suitable to the tastes of everyone as there seems to be a much larger variety to choose from along with a style of food that may be more appropriate and appealing for everyone.

This restaurant has gotten some really excellent reviews. The only downside is that this place is about 15 minutes or so from the Hotel.

My mother ate at Sir Johns for a meeting for work, she said its a very nice place and would be able to suit everyones taste.

I'll eat anywhere. I have to say, I was looking forward to NOVA TERRA. You can eat average Italian food anytime, no ?

That sounds like a nice menu, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Maybe the hotel could provide a shuttle. I'll email them and check.

I also think that the place is very pretty, being right on the water.

Edited to add: I'll go along with the majority. I'll eat almost anything. Spanish food is wonderful, but may not be the ticket for a large group with varied tastes. This menu is a bit more mainstream.

I'm pretty sure that short of returning to La Veranda, I will never have such an excellent and enjoyable meal.
