I believe I've heard of Queenbury. I was just curious that we didn't live that far away from each other. I believe Newburgh/New Windsor is only about an hour from the city so it'd be 2 hours away from you. It's right around West Point and the Hudson Valley area. West Point was about a 45-minute drive for me from Montgomery with traffic. Yeah, I'm pretty much on the Northern part of the Hudson River. Infact, it's like 15-20 minutes from Queensbury to the GE plant that dumped all the PCB, I believe. I'll have to check out a map or something when I am feeling less lazy, so I can gauge how close we live to one another. But yeah man, that's cool. Queensbury... Damn, what a hell hole. The town itself is very nice, it's a good area. And the education at my school is good too. But damn, the people bother me. They're like the personification of stupid suburuban white-kids.

I12, I haven't seen this Particular documentary, but I know PBS has shown different ethnic documentaries. I have seen the "Italian American Experience" a couple years ago (don't know if it's the same producers) and liked it so much that I purchased it for my parents who really enjoyed it. They also have "The Irish-American" Experience and several others that they showed for a while. What exactly does the NY documentry cover? Anyway, I'm not a real big documentary fan (depending on the subject), but this sounds interesting. TIS

I have a virus on my work computer. You'd think with the lovely ITG department we have here they'd figure out ways to stop viruses from getting here. My computer is only 2 years old and the ITG guy said even the Norton antivirus was outdated. The sadder thing is I only have Windows 2000. Wonder if I could get him to upgrade me to at least Windows XP. They have to come and completely re-install my Operating System. This place blows!!!

Are you sure it's not just spyware ? Did you try ad aware, spybot or c cleaner ? The basic versions are all free, and partnered with Norton's basic service, have kept my computers virus free for quite some time.

I didn't do a thing. The ITG guy was remotely working on my computer and try to do a Windows update. After 30 minutes, halfway through downloading, the upgrade failed. They have Norton Antivirus and Spyware. He did upgrade that to 2007 version. I told him since they "upgrade" our software we use in my work the system has been increasingly slow. Today the Internet just wouldn't come up at all. I'm only working now because he moved my documents and internet files to my folder.

The good thing is the lady tech from ITG said when she rebuilds it she'll put on Windows XP. She asked me why in the world I had Windows 2000. Like it was my choice..hahaha. I said you geniuses installed Windows 2000 on my computer...just 2 years ago. They have sites like myspaced blocked here, so I didn't get a virus there. When the guy moved my files to my folder it somehow has the fantasy baseball site blocked as well. This better change when they rebuild my computer or I will kick some serious ass...haha.

They called for 1-3 inches here, but now it's a rain/snow mix. There's very little dusting on the grass, but the streets and sidewalks are clear. Although they said the afternoon there's gonna be more snowfall. The poor Easter Bunny is gonna freeze his tail off. Well the weather man actually called it right this time. We've probably had 50 snow predictions this year...with 49 of them either turning out to be rain or nothing. It's actually snowing it's ass off right now. I'd say there's a good inch or two on the ground right now. I'm glad I decided to come home early from work. I'd hate to have to drive 35 miles through this mess. I gotta say though...despite the crappy driving conditions, I'm always humbled by how beautiful snow is. The way is sits on the branches of the pine trees, the stone gray sky in the background. To some it may look depressing, but I think its beautiful. Until I have to go out later, that is.

he looks like the dad from "Step by Step".
Mind you I fucking hate sitcoms, that one in particular.

Yeah, I think so. I might be wrong, I haven't seen an episode since about 1998 or so.

Wait, not Step by Step, what's the one with Leonardo DiCaprio?
The father is a psychiatrist?
They have a son who was named Mike... I'm blanking on the last name. It's on the tip of my tongue.

Yes, that one!
The father... Um... I can't remember his name. Well, the bloke in the picture looks like him.

Yeah, I believe so.
Anyone else agree with me? Anyone see him in there?
