Wow, I actually prefer your room-mates preconception of RHCP to the general consensus of our generation. That being, "You mean they made music BEFORE By the Way!? Bullshit, you're lying!"
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

I ordered online yesterday "A Bronx Tale", "This thing of ours", and "A tale of two pizzas". I also brought at Walmart "Bang the drum slowly" and "The Sting". I already had "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", so getting that one is like getting the complete set so to speak. :). With there being rain everywhere it doesn't look like today is a day to sit and watch Baseball since everything's practically rained out. Maybe I'll watch "Bang the drum slowly". I'll keep the tissues handy. : It's nice to live long enough that the good old movies you loved are in the bargain bin at Walmart. Beth you should just get some from Irishman, he seem to buy every dumb movie every made. Or so it seems. Just flirt with him alittle, show him a picture with a lady dressed in plastic/leather and he will give up his whole collection to you.

I liked This Thing Of Ours and think that you will enjoy it. Not a boxoffice smash by any means, , but definitely an enjoyable movie. Plaw was the one who turned me on to that movie. I just ordered another B movie myself called Johnny Slade's Greatest Hits, starring your friend, the zuchinni man. Have you ever seen a movie called Dueces Wild?

I actually saw This thing of ours with Paul last summer when I was in New Jersey. It's a good movie for fans of the mafia. Not a blockbuster by the least. Just wanted to add it to my Frank Vincent collection. It's sort of like a memorial to Paul. Johnny Slade's greatest hits? That sounds like a winner. Does he die on the can too? I'll let you know when I see it. Plot Summary : Johnny Slade's Greatest Hits is the story of a struggling lounge singer who could never get a break. Johnny's luck changes when he lands a gig at a hot new club. Little does he know that the club is owned by a former high-profile mob boss, now in hiding. The Dean Martin wannabe soon learns his "Greatest Hits" are more than humble tunes. As his popularity rises, Johnny begins to draw a strange correlation between the songs that he is asked to perform and the morning newspaper crime reportsSounds as though it could be a fun movie. Hey, what the heck. How many times have we thrown away $20 - $30 going to the movies to see a flick that wound up sucking big time? So I figure for a $13.99 DVD I'll take my chances. I actually ordered it along with 2 Andrea Bocelli CDs. I was $5.00 short to qualify for free shipping so I added it in with my order. So truthfully it really only cost me $9.00 because I would have not qualified for free whipping if I did not throw it in and then would have had to pay the $5.00 for shipping anyway.

I actually ordered it along with 2 Andrea Bocelli CDs. Does he sing in just Italian? For the most part, yes. I believe that he did a spanish version of one of his CD's. Doesn't matter. Regardless of if you can understand what he's saying or not, his singing is just fantastic and so moving. As Beth said, his songs just send chills right through you. Click HERE to listen to some samples of his music.

Buy Sogno. That's the CD for the link that I posted for your listening pleasure. DC, that is the most beautiful CD, and the most beautiful song. Did you ever see his concert from Liberty Island? I don't know if they show it any longer, because the Twin Towers are in the backdrop throughout the whole concert, which is heartbreaking. However, he dedicates Sogno to his father, who had just died. That was his first concert after his father's death, and the performance was incredibly moving. I don't know if you've ever read the translation of the lyrics, but they are beautiful.

Edward Norton is The Incredible Hulk!Edward Norton has been set by Marvel Studios to play Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk. The Louis Leterrier-directed film will be distributed by Universal Pictures on June 13, 2008. The movie will shoot this summer in Toronto. Norton takes over a role played in the Ang Lee-directed Hulk by Eric Bana. Though that film opened strongly, it didn't fare as well as other Marvel efforts, including Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four and, most recently, Ghost Rider. Marvel Studios, which has a $525 million credit facility obtained through Merrill Lynch, made The Incredible Hulk its second film under that arrangement, and seeks to make a sequel that is less self-serious and more in line with the comic series and TV show. Leterrier directed the action-filled Transporter and its sequel, as well as Unleashed. The new movie begins with Banner on the run, trying to avoid capture long enough to cure the condition that turns him into a misunderstood green menace. "Edward Norton is a rare talent and one of the most versatile actors in the business," Marvel Studios production president Kevin Feige said in a statement. "His ability to transform into a particular role makes him the ideal choice to take on the character of Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Edward is perfectly suited to bring one of the most popular and important Marvel icons to the bigscreen in a new and exciting way." The script for The Incredible Hulk was written by Zak Penn, who had a hand in crafting two "X-Men" films and Fantastic Four for Marvel. The movie is being produced by Avi Arad, Gale Anne Hurd and Marvel's Feige. Jim Van Wyck, David Maisel, Ari Arad and Stan Lee are executive producing. Source: Super Hero Hype ---------------------------------------------------------------- Is anyone else scratching their head over this one? Not that I have anything against Edward Norton but the decision just seems to have come out of left field. Out of all the actors on a list to be in The Incredible Hulk, Edward Norton would have been at the bottom.

Coincidence?
No. No but it's still creepy. The guy comes and goes every couple of months and the first thing out of his mouth and Irishman this and Irishman that. What's your obsession!? CREEPY? The only thing creepy is YOUR posts of women in plastic/leather and rating who is hotter. Like a preteen jerk off master. Didn't you say that you were in college now? BYW, Don't flatter yourself, NO ONE has an obsession with YOU that is for sure, but then in your world it is all about you isn't it. And let me let you on to a little secret. Just because people don't post hundreds of posts a day, doesn't mean that people aren't around. Many of us do have a life, unlike yourself and we don't post to every dumb thread. Oh, by the way, I'm not attacking you, just answering your post with some facts. Do you think that you can understand this fact. Most likely not. Your on so many people shit list that you think every post is a insult. Tuff way to go thru life I guess.
