That seems to be the consensus. Honestly, I live in the center of the food universe. It's unfair for me to even have a vote. I'd rather give my vote to someone who doesn't get to enjoy what New York and New Jersey have to offer on an every day basis. As long as I don't have to drive.

DC - I don't know the restaurants as well as DMC - it's been many years since I lived there, way before these restaurants popped up. BUT, I've heard many good things about the area, so I just figured there had to a good one close by...

I really don't care, tho - ALTHO - I think if we drive to a restaurant, Clydz should definitely be AFTER dinner, not before! Because after Clydz, I'll be walking...

Well from reading most of these posts here, it seems to me that almost all of us are in agreement that we'd rather have dinner within walking distance of the hotel. At least we have some really good restaurants within the area of the hotel.

So therefore I'm convinced that we should stay within the area of the hotel.

Be that the case, my choices are either Panico's or Nova Terra.

We got just a little over 4 months left so I think we should be making up our minds soon so we can get reservations and be done with it.

I meant New York City as a whole, you pineapple.

We have time. And as it get's closer we'll also have a better idea as to who's really coming. This way we can make a decision and then our man DMC can make the appropriate reservations.

In the summertime, on a sunday morning, I'll go to the pork store and get a homemade HOT FRESH mozzarella and a fresh loaf of Italian bread. Then I go back home, sit in my yard, play a little Sinatra or Andrea Bocelli and MANGIA!
