I'm confused about a rule. If we have a pitcher that was a reliever, but is starting this season, how will it be scored until his position is changed? The rules state: "Pitchers need to make three starts to become eligible as a starter" Will he be scored as a RP for the 1st 3 starts, or not get any credit as a SP?

Pitching stats will count wherever the guy is placed, SP or RP. If an RP makes a start, JG will count it towards the 162 game limit.

That means you can start Wainwright without hesitation. ;\)

Good pick, btw. \:\)

So wait, there is still 162 "Start" limit for pitchers? Just no limit on innings?

Damn I messed up!

That's right DMC. JG will manually add up the starts your entire pitching staff makes. Once you reach 162, he will ask you nicely to bench all your starters.

If you don't, he will come over to your house and manhandle you. \:p

I thought the same as DMC... I thought that since there was unlimited innings pitched then I was going to start as many freakin' starters as I could.

JG, is there anyway we could decide sooner rather than later on whether or not we are going to abandon the 162 game limit? I want to win but I'd rather not kill myself trying to figure who's starting every single day if I don't have to.

The 162 game limit on SP's was put in before the draft. It better not be changed now.

NOTHING is changing now. Those who actually paid any attention before the draft should be fine. The others, well.... it's no one else's fault, is it? ;\) Use the waiver wire accordingly...
