Wasn't it you who once mentioned a restaurant named STAGE LEFT in New Brunswick? I was talking to an old business associate of mine this morning and he happend to mention to me that his company held a dinner last evening at STAGE LEFT. I asked him how it was an he said fantastic. He told me that they have this dinner special that is something like 7 courses and they ate Chilled Maine Lobster, Grilled Hammachi, Skate (Stingray), Foi Grass ( some kind of pate), Chocolate/Espresso glazed Ribs, A whole platter of various cheeses, Apples and Honey and a Premium Wine tasting for something like $200 per head. You ever have this or hear of this?

Foie gras is pate made from the liver of a goose that has been force-fed. A lot of people think it's cruel to the animals, but I have to tell you that foie gras is absolutely incredible. That meal sounds incredible, DC! I think DMC might have mentioned this place once.

Are you both trying to give Miggie a stroke ?

Well my friend, who I've gone out with many times in the past when we did business together, happens to have great taste in food, so I trust him. When he mentioned Stage Left, I thought that this was the one that DMC brought up when we were first planning a dinner in New Brunswick.

I had that before at one of the pharm dinners I went to, they said they only do it for parties of 10 or more, but I'll tell you, its worth every penny.

Really? $200 a head? Well truthfully I guess the wine alone is worth it. Supposedly you get some really top shelf wine.

Look into it DMC. If you're a wine person, it's well worth it.

The food alone was worth it, I'm not really a wine person but even I enjoyed that wine.

I'll look into it though, all of you know my feelings about Stage Left.

I wasn't asking because I was thinking about our group. I was inquiring for a non gangsterbb thing. Was thinking about it for something else. Having our dinner that was really not my intent at all. It was for something totally different.

But if you want to take the time to poll the others, I have no objection whatsoever.

I LOOOVE all that stuff DC...hamacchi, skate, liver pate.

I guess it's almost like a French-Asian type of fusion. Maybe they have sushi and Japanese beer, too. That really gives people a pretty big selection to choose from.

I have no problem getting more information on it, it is worth it though.

I didn't say that I wanted to go there. I said that I have no objection if you want to ask the others being that you and PB seemed to like the idea. I am fine sticking with Nova Terra or Panico's. But as I've said before, if you and the others come up with something else, I won't mind at all. I go with the flow.

Well, there's not much better than good foie gras and wine...But, like DC, I'll go along with what the group wants. Seems like we made a good choice with New Brunswick. It looks like there are plenty of topnotch places to choose from.

That IS the place......thats where I took Miss Paella after Nova Terra.......and theres a new Hotel there as well lol

So only eat 3 1/2 courses instead of seven.
