I disagree entirely. He's a versatile actor and I don't even think he's scratched the surface of his talent yet. George Clooney wasn't typecast as a doctor when he left ER, Sean Connery wasn't typecast as James Bond when he quit the series. Gandolfini will sail through it. He has the talent to do it, and more importantly he's as convincing in other characterisations as he is as Tony. You want to talk typecast, let's talk about Elijah Wood. Forever a hobbit

I dont think theres any reason to worry about T. Have you seen "Romance & Cigarettes".. Or what about "The man who wasent there", or even "Last Castle".. Gandolfini is a sublime actor, and can play all sorts of roles, beside a mob Boss. Personally, even do i´m sad the Sopranos is ending, i´m lookin forward to se JG in other sort of roles, which im certain he´s going to get.
