I can tell you though I'm not interested in Cuddyer. I've been looking for a solid 2B or 3B. Like possibly Bill Hall or Kinsler ;\)

I'll see what I can do.

Trade Pending

#5 JL to trade:
Ian Kinsler (Tex - 2B)

#7 BL to trade:
Jim Thome (CWS - Util)

#7 BL to drop:
Joe Borowski (Cle - RP)

JL is dealing one of his excess high-scoring 2Bs for Jim Thome's power potential. Considering Thome's injury risk, I say this deal is pretty fair.

Fair enough, considering all the time Thome is missing... I agree...

PS - Wow, I just saw Webb gave me a 37 (sorry, Gina!) -- I guess I'll keep him around a while longer... \:D

Would it be possible for me to ever pick the right starters on any given day???

I'd be a bit more in 1st had I trusted Cain @COL -- twice (21 pts missed today, 23 pts missed on 4/17) \:\/ \:\(

We've all had days like that. I do it in reverse though. I forgot to bench Valverde against the Mets last week, and it cost me -27. I didn't bench Weaver for his 1st few starts off the D/L, and it cost me too.

....PS: Thanks for Josh Willingham ;\)

At least you guys don't have Chris Ray (-21) and Joe Borowski (-25).

I've learned my lesson... If there is to be a reliever as part of a trade, I am going to bench him, or drop him ahead of time because it seems like they get pissed at me and kick me in the crotch the day before they go.

In fact, does anyone want to trade for Chris Ray? He's just a jerk.

Now you know why I told you I didn't want Borowski when we made the Thome trade. ;\)

Yeah, I just threw him in there thinking "HMMM! Maybe if I throw in Borowski, who I have to drop anyway in order to make room, he might accept the trade!"

Freakin' Borowski...

And Ray is still a jerk.

I offer you a closer who's 3rd in the majors in saves, has been great all year except for 1 really bad game, for a guy that's been terrible, and you can't stand.... And you turn it down?

I don't know what you expected to get offered for him, but I guarantee you weren't getting more than that. ;\)

If I accepted that trade for Valverde then that would have made my team UNSTOPPABLE! And because I respect you all so much, I just couldn't live with myself if I were to embarrass everyone like that. I really don't want to die someday with a guilty conscience! I rejected your trade for the greater good of humanity my friend! FOR THE GREATER GOOD OF HUMANITY!!!!!!!

Sorry, but I'm too distracted and pissed off at other things to worry about this tonight -- I'll take care of it tomorrow... \:\/

...and it's not because DMC scored twice as many points as the next guy, to take 1st Place, either... \:p \:\/

I know now might not be the right time to ask, but perhaps when you post the standings you could post the total # of pitching starts too. It would give a better idea how everyone is really doing.
