Ugh, no matter what I do I just cannot pick the right starting pitchers. I do all my research and everything and everyone tells me, start Harang and Lackey today (combined -1) but NOT Lowe (+32). First off... I don't get this... When a trade is accepted by both parties, it says something like "trade will go into effect in x number of days"... Fine... but, as commish, when I approve a trade, shouldn't it still wait that period of time? I can't be expected to keep track of when to actually click the button, can I?? My trade with Freddie said "Monday", but I hit the Accept button after a couple days of no (real) objections, and now it seems it went thru immediately. Why isn't that automated, so when Commish approves, it still doesn't go into effect until it's supposed to?? Sorry... don't think that's my fault... Sounds like another Yahoo glitch. What happened in the previous trades?

What happened in the previous trades? I didn't really pay much attention, especially if the trades didn't concern me. I'd wait a couple days, then hit Approve, thinking I could hit the button whenever I wanted... I'll have to write them about it, cuz I really don't want to have to worry about it...

Hmmm... it says this in the Help section: Please note that Custom League commissioners have the option of selecting "Commissioner Control" for trade review. Under these conditions, a commissioner can allow (or push a trade through) at any time during the review period. So let me ask you this, DB, since you've commished Yahoo leagues before: Did you ever have to hit the Approve button to allow a trade to go thru, or did it do it automatically? I'm wondering now if it'd've gone thru by itself if I didn't touch it...?

I was off all day today with the flu, and I'm off tomorrow also to take care of my step daughter who got sick also. So I've had all kinds of time today and will have more tomorrow to try and come up with trades. If anyone has any trade proposals please make your offers soon while I have the time!
