So my question is...if indeed we lived in a world where the weather is always the same...what then would be the most "random" topic? What is next in line as the silence-breakin topic?
Farts. They're often silence breakers. But they can change weather.

Could you explain what kind of weather that might be? Windy. Thanks for clarification, but I was wondering what kind of day in, day out weather Fame is talking about. Farts do change the weather.

I don't understand. You mean my sadness can make the sky cloudy? While it's not actually cloudy? No. The other way. It's no coincidence that people are more sociable when the sun is shining.

On the contrary; the weather is an integral part of our emotional lives. True. In the Spring of 2003 we had rain almost every day from late March to the middle of June. It was unbelievable. There may have been only 10 days, in which the sun shined. It was no coincidence that treatment for depression and depressive symptoms dramatically increased during this time. And do you know WHY it rained that much? My daughter was in a middle school play about life on another planet, where the sun only came out once every 15 years, or some such far-fetched plot. Right after they performed that play, we teased her music director that he made it rain for the entire season.

I remember how depressing it was week after week when I'd see the extended forecast, and it was nothing but rain. We had many make up baseball games, and ended up playing one on Memorial Day - in the cold rain.

Hey Fame, I posted this Poll a while back. Personally I've always been irritated by the day to day weather chit chat. For example, it's seventy degrees and sunny and everyone says "Beautiful Day huh?". Or if it's lightly raining for a few days in a row, "Another rainy day, have you heard if it's going to rain tomorrow too?" Now, if it was extreme weather then I understand.

I knew we did a thread on that before. thanks, Blibble.

You probably could charge admission Klydon. These people do at The Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz, CA.
