I'm officially concerned about David Wright.

Funny that you should post this. I was thinking the same thing about him. Something is not right with Wright.

I've been watching him closely when he bats and I notice that he pulls his head out quite a bit. He is not keeping his head tucked on his front shoulder the way that he did last year.

They'd better give Galvine some run support tonight! The way that he's pitched since his second season with the Mets he should have reached 300 wins a long time ago.

The Mets might have a tough time tonight. This kid pitching for Arizona is arguably the #1 2007 pitching prospect.

Well the Mets scored enough runs to come back and win the game, but apparently Glavine did not give himself or the team any pitching support!

Nice though to see them come back and win again.

JL, you better trade him for back-ups now while you still can.

What the fock man? Did anyone see the game? I missed it. Did Maine pitch good enough to win? Looks like he did as far as the score goes.

He pitched very well. Wright had a huge bases loaded double and Delgado hit one into McCovey Cove. If they both start coming around, fuggetaboutit!

He pitched Ok. He had a few shaky innings, and he walked a lot of batters. He didn't have command of his fastball.

Damn. Not fielding at all tonight.

Mr. Babe was at the game last night. He's not a huge Mets fan, but he said it was a great game to see. Exciting to the very end!

I always said that Mr. Babe knows class when he sees it.

I was laying down watching the game. Earlier in the day I had oral gum surgery so I was kind of out of it. I fell asleep in the 8th inning.

Around 4:30 I got up to go and coach my daughter's softball game. I get in the car, turn on WFAN and they're talking about how Willie made all the right moves and the Mets winning the game! WOW!

Yeah. Willie could do no wrong in the 9th today.
....It help when you have almost all your regulars available to pinch hit.

Damn. I wish the Mets would have come up with $126 million for Zito.

Was it just me, or did that home plate umpire have an obscenely wacky strike zone (for both teams)...? Stuff that was low and in was a ball, but stuff way outside beyond the black was a strike...I wanted to punch the guy in the face.

Perez pitched beautifully. Smith did a great job painting the corners and Wagner looked really good.

Once again, Endy, a bench player mind you, comes through in the clutch.

Nope. But I am concerned about Delgado. Big time.

If Delgado has indeed lost it, then the Mets have more than enough bats to make up for it. I was more worried about Wright because he's 24 years old. It might be time to move Delgado down in the order.
