Instead of hijacking Don Cardi's birthday thread, I thought I'd reply to you in here, Lead.



Well, I called to have internet installed, and they tried to tell me I'd have to call and make another appointment, AND pay another installation fee. So, I didn't make the other appointment, and just waited til the cable guy got here and told him what they said. He laughed. Said he REALLY didn't feel like making two trips, and that it was stupid of them to even suggest it.

They tried to get me to pay $37.99 for the internet, in addition to the $49.99 for the cable. I said "Nooo. When I called, they told me cable and internet would be only $79.99 a month." The guy on the other end fumbled and said "Uh.. yeah... We have that promotion going on too.." And I told him that's what I want, nothing else. So...... that's what I got!
