Get a room! Fine, but you're paying. It's going to be a threesome. Four if we're counting sheep.
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Hmmm... sit-ups...
I've been biking more than usually lately, on the basis that I want to be fit, but I don't want any muscle definition. That is, I want to look like a man, not some unrealistic ideal of a man... Not unlike He-man and a Calvin Kline model.
I like it. I'm not athletic in anyway, which I couldn't give a shit about, I just need to get to a point where I can run more than three feet without running out of breath.
I can't imagine myself doing anything more, IE lifting weights, because like I said, I don't want to look like a jackass. I've come to love my awkward frame and the self-deprecating humor it allows me.

Yeah, I never really caught onto sports. I can admire some athletes for their skill and the physical demand that sports call for, but I really want no part of it.
It's just funny, because subsequently, mostly all of the athletic-type kids in my school are complete morons and ingrates with a diminished sense of humor and even less of a personality.
I think I'm lucky... My town/school doesn't have anywhere near an abundance of the intellectually intelligent, philosophical, artistic, or musically inclined, but it has enough for me to be beyond happy and content with those I call my friends. And I'd much rather spend my time with a group of people interested in using their minds to create than a group of people interested in using their bodies to destruct.

FWIW - I just heard on tv that JFK would have been 90 years old today. It seems so long ago and yet, Ford and I believe Reagan, lived into their nineties. He died so long ago that I guess the fact that he "could" have been still alive all this time is amazing. TIS

Dr. Octagon rocks my socks off. Blibble, go to bed. I own the cd myself, but best album of the year? Hmm... I'll go listen to it again and see if my socks are rocked.

And I'd much rather spend my time with a group of people interested in using their minds to create than a group of people interested in using their bodies to destruct. It's like that in every school. But believe me, after high school, college and a couple of years in a full-time job, the chasm between jocks and non-jocks shrinks. When you're both married, working, raising kids, your similarities get stronger, and the differences that separated you in high school will vanish.
