I did see it in the movies, and I think that the film had great MOMENTS, which is why we as GF aficionados find it such a frustrating film to watch. We see the potential.

Sofia was raked over the coals, and I felt badly for her and her father. However, her performance was just one huge whine, IMHO, and ruined much of the film for me.

I have to agree with SC on the ending. Michael never redeemed himself. His punishment for his sins was to lose his precious daughter and to die alone.
