If you are going to post a spoiler, please say "**SPOILER**" beforehand. Thanks!
Predictions/Thoughts/Comments??
I think, no spoilers - just my mind, that they have to end the Melfi situation better and of course, the war. I have 2 possible scenarios that involve Melfi: 1. After the death of so many close to him in his crew, Tony goes to Melfi "bleeding his heart out" much the same way Chris did to JT. Becuase Melfi cast off Tony becuase of what he does, Melfi says "TONY, you're in the mafia!" And Tony kills her. A good parallel between Chris and Tony. 2. Phil's henchmen find Melfi and her office and force her to call Tony to "come back to therapy." Melfi makes the call, and, with all their years of getting to know each other, she has to indirectly inform Tony that an assassin has his gun pointed right inside the doorway (think Young Clemenza in GF2 with the cop).
Also, as per the series finale, I think that, after the war is over (no matter who wins, though I tend to believe Phil is getting shot) Tony decides to relax by either going to an ice cream parlor, or by reclining in his living room and eating a bowl of ice cream. DING-DONG! The FBI has finally cemented its case against Tony, and he goes away. Think about it, viewers were pounded with the idea of the FBI for about the first 5 episodes, now it just went away and the attention shifted to a war. What a bigger shock than resolving the war and BOOM, the Feds show up!
Should be a memorable one!!!

You guys over there in the states have no idea how frustrating it is for us Brits...we wont see this on TV for months....ok ok the internet will provide it soon...but frustrating all the same.
I am such a huge Sopranos fan...i really hope this ending lives up to all our hopes. I really don't want to see Tony die though. I have a strange feeling something is going to happen to Carmela though.
Thats where you're wrong...out there its the 1990s. In here its 1952.

I think we've seen the last of Dr. Melfi. The last thing on Tony's mind right now is calling his therapist. We got to see the end of their relationship, and there's no reason for her to be involved in the final episode. Yeah Lou, I gotta agree. Tony's holed up in a safe house and with an AK-47 and he's got Melfi on his mind? I don't think so.

I'm surprised no one has organized a sit down to watch The Sopranos finale together. They didn't invite you? Apparently not.

The biggest surprised ending of all would be this.. The war goes on and Tony is shot and killed, the last few minutes he finally wakes up from the coma he was in last season with Carm, Meadow, and AJ there and he is actually a salesmen and not in the MOB! This was actually posted in another thread referrencing chat room talk that some think Tony is actually Kevin Finnerty and this is his dream.

Yeah, then maybe he'll wake up with Suzanne Pleshette, like in NEWHART. Instead of Suzanne Pleshette, Melfi will actually be his wife and not his therapist.

With only an hour left in the series, I can't see how Tony keeps is crime family together. I mean who of significance is left? I've imagined that it may end with him losing everything, including Carm. Yet, assuming next week he's still in hiding, I can't see where Carm will pick up and leave him. So it seems it'll end with him losing his crime family and/or Carm or one of the kids losing their lives as well, not Carm walking out on him. As far as the MidEastern guys, I was pretty much convinced with yesterday's episode, that the purpose of the Feds popping up in a few episodes asking about them, was simply to show Tony co-operating so in turn we could see the Feds end up giving a heads-up to Tony about the planned hit on him. All I know is, I'll be in mourning next Sunday at 7:00 p.m. I'll be dressed in black. TIS Oh, and I'd Loooove to have a Soprano's party, but amazingly enough, nobody I know watches it regularly. What a bunch of dummies!!!

Unless Carmela freaks out when she learns that Tony manhandled AJ after he just got out of the Psychiatric Center. You know how protective she is of her kids. Did you see the mean look that she gave Charmaine when her and Artie asked how AJ was doing? I think that Carmela is about to lose it. Hey, remember my post about the FBI arresting Tony and telling Meadow et al about the murder of Jackie Jr. And as someone posted above, my previous post about an anti-climatic ending with Tony sitting, relaxing in front of Satriale's puffing on a cigar. Of course, there is my other thread about Ade.

Arghghghghgg!! I think I'm going to go crazy with the anticipation!
I can't wait to find out what happens now.
Does anyone else think there could be more than meets the eye about Sil's comatose state? He seemed to go from wounded to almost dead within seconds despite not being shot again, and it's strange that we've had no official confirmation of his state. Maybe it's nothing, but I thought it was a bit odd.

Like another Soprano woman marrying a mob related guy. I think it's clear that Charmaine doesn't respect Carmela or her family.

Max Casella's (Benny Fazio) stunt double is listed in the IMDB credits for Made in America. I'm guessing either Benny kills or gets killed in the finale.

Made in America SPOILERS
I got this spoiler from tv.com, only part of the episode not the entire episode.
The beginning of the episode begins right where it left off in Blue Comet. Paulie and Carlo enter the room and wake up Tony. The three discuss options to take against Phil; Paulie says "he'll do it", but Carlo feels anymore bloodshed would crush the family and it's best to make peace. Benny and Patsy arrive at the house where the others are waiting for the pizza.
Tony comes to the conclusion of going to another New York boss who could threaten Phil and end the war. Once Carlo leaves the room Paulie informs Tony that Gabrielle pulled the plug on Silvio since he would never recover.
Carlo goes out to pay the pizza guy at the car. However, three men exit the car with weapons and head towards the house as Carlo gets in the back seat. The two groups begin to fire, Walden is killed and Patsy is wounded. Carlo had informed NY of thier location.
Carmella, Meadow, and AJ are staying at a boarded up beach house. AJ constantly complains that there is nothing to do while Carmella seems still upset about Bobby. Meadow is trying to sleep.
Phil, Butch, and Albie discuss the success of their hits. Butch says that Tony is weel protected and will be hard to get to. Phil then says that Paulie Gaultieri should be killed because he will do something stupid because he was close with Sil. Albie says that Paulie should be kept alive since he could take over after they kill Tony. Albie goes on to say that they could keep Paulie under control.
This is all the guy wrote, seems plausible but Im not so sure Carlo would pull something like that.

Tony and Sil, both in comas, both having doctors doubting thier recovery, yet Tony pulls through while Sil doesnt.

Yeah he was just quite a few times, twice in the abdomen and once in the shoulder. Wonder why all those bullets managed to hit Sil but not Patsy? I'm sure Patsy becomes an instant target just from being with Silvio and he's a Soprano family member.
