Ronco and three affiliated Debtors filed for Chapter 11 protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Central District of California (San Fernando Valley Division), case #: 07-12000. The Company is represented by Stacia A Neeley of Klee, Tuchin, Bogdanoff and Stern. Effective April 27, 2007, the Company's board authorized, via unanimous written consent, its chief restructuring officer to make this Chapter 11 filing. Ronco is involved in the marketing and distribution of kitchen products and markets its products primarily in the United States through infomercials, internet advertising, its in-house customer service department, telemarketing and sales to retailers both directly and through wholesale distributors.
