I mean, it's a rather depressing clip, because you can see how destroyed the two are. But at the same time, it makes me chuckle. But, for depressing, have you seen Sid's last interview, done while he was on trial at the end of 1979? I'm sure it's on youtube, somewhere, but it's quite solemn. Interviewer: Are you having fun? Sid: Are you kidding? ...no I'm not having fun. *awkward silence.*Interviewer: Where would you like to be right now? Sid: Under the ground. Interviewer: Seriously? Sid: Yes.

have you seen Sid's last interview, done while he was on trial at the end of 1979? I've tried to find it - just b/c I'm crazy like that and I wanna analyze every word and sound he makes - but I don't think it's available. I've heard that bit that you quoted, though. If I find it I'll post it. I've seen it, I'll try to find it later. He's very quiet, I'm pretty certain he is sober, and he is looking down at the ground the whole time... He never makes eye contact with the interviewer. He speaks softly and doesn't add any emphasis to his words, from what I can recall.

Ronnie's Rasslin Video Round-Up #13: WARGAMES, 1987 The very first of the legendary "Wargames" PPV matches from WCW, it pitted a unique two-ring cage match with elimination/entering rules...and of course, the finale with everyone in....THE MATCH BEYOND! With the Four Horsemen going to war with the Anti-Horsemen faction led by Dusty "The American Dream" Rhodes...it rocks. Dammit WWE, bring back WARGAMES!* http://youtube.com/watch?v=7LJQmpokl-c&mode=related&search=*=While you can, bring back KING OF THE RING!

Ronnie's Rasslin Video Round-Up #14: "The NWO is Born" - BASH AT THE BEACH, 1996 - WCWThe one moment that absolutely turned the wrestling industry on its ears. For months, "The Outsiders" of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, the invaders from up north, dominated and bodyslammed everyone in their path in that summer of 1996. From WCW vanguard like Sting and Ric Flair to exiled-WWFers like Randy Savage and Lex Luger... So 6-man tag team main event for the BASH AT THE BEACH main event. Sting/Luger/Savage go to war against Hall, Nash, and their "Mystery Opponent." Then Hogan comes out, to save the day.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UQcqY0PgtQ

Jools Holland's music show is the only one worth watching over here, for me, at least on the five-channel, terrestrial TV that you get with a basic TV license. Missed this when you posted it, what, last month... Jools RAWKS! I get the show On-Demand on digital cable, and I never realized what a fantastic keyboard player he is - and - the musical guests are outstandingly matched! Willie Nelson and The Cure? Awesome! I don't know about on that side of the pond, but most of the "international" (non-US/UK) artists are edited out, but it's still a fabulous show. Sir Paul... Flaming Lips... Metallica (!!)... good chit, mang!
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

Yeah, Streetlight Manifesto is great. Are you familiar with any of their other stuff?

I'm gonna..post some Classical pieces. All of these are very moving. (One of these days, when the fence is mended and the yows are in place, I'm gonna start a Classical Music thread on the BB.) Leonard Bernstein-Divertimento for Orchestra-Waltzhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPOpaCUHRxUYep, Bernstein also composed. Cecile Chaminade-Concertino for Flute http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hCT447Elzk' Cecile Chaminade was in love with a flautist, but he was not in love with her. To her great despair, he became engaged to be married... to another woman. On the day of his wedding, Cecile brought him the score of the 'Concertino', the outpouring of her feelings in a beautiful piece for flute. Unfortunately, he wasn't moved, and he married the other woman.' Ralph Vaughan Williams-The Lark Ascendinghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbcuteYm-EANo one should die w/o hearing this atleast once.
