Toodoped: I wish you the best buddy and dont forget, what doesnt kill you, makes you stronger wink
MeyerLansky: indeed thank you buddy ! all the best to you too !
Toodoped: Fuck the ScottB & Button/Zipper Pants sites and fuck their paywalls. This forum gives you everything for free and so best wishes and good health to both JGeoff and TB!
Toodoped: Cheers and stay tuned for more free information.
Toodoped: Cant believe that some posters need to open three different threads so they can advertise their projects, and also talk to themselves with the help of different accounts. What is the world coming to?!
Toodoped: whoomp there it is! whoomp there it is! lol
Toodoped: a bird told me that the zipper pants site is slowly going down lol lol lol
Toodoped: The best fun for me is being the puppeteer of a complete idiot lol lol
Toodoped: ...and screw all paywalls and paying sites. They wont give you shit
Toodoped: GBB rules!
VanillaLimeCoke: Yeah!
Toodoped: Someone needs to unzip lots of zipper pants, so she or it can give birth to the Button Guys lol lol
Toodoped: I said I creep and I crawl and I creep and I crawl And I creep and I crawl creep creep lol
Toodoped: Misery loves idiots lol
Toodoped: Lots of "amnesia"...some people are posting the same stuff over and over, and every time they are happy like small kids lol
Toodoped: arent they cute?! lol
Toodoped: a small reminder...screw all paywalls!
Toodoped: GBB rules!
Toodoped: Anyone heard from @BigTuna? He is absent for quite some time...I hope is ok
Toodoped: Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out.
VanillaLimeCoke: Well said Toodoped
Toodoped: Thanks buddy! We should continue fighting against these lying paying sites and to protect everyone on this forum, especially the younger generation or posters.
Havana: gambling
Toodoped: that too lol
Toodoped: these days lots of people that I know lost their families and everything they had because its legit and even youngsters can chip in
Toodoped: Same as the mob paying sites...ppl pay for "Disneyland" and wiki mob stuff, something which they can find it on their own with a simple google search
VanillaLimeCoke: Lousy school violence these days. Not even a 6th of the way through September and we've already had a psychotic violent school shooting.
Toodoped: Word. Few days ago, over here, they caught one teenager with a gun and more than 60 bullets, while going to school. I wonder what was his plan ?!
Toodoped: Damn....the retard slowly became a stalker and he's following me whenever I make a post so he can bump up his own $0,5 "projects" lol lol "IT" is finished and I love it lol
Toodoped: ahahhahahaha
Toodoped: still talking to yourself, a stupido?! lol lol
Toodoped: hahahahahaha I can do it all day long
Toodoped: Cant believe this shit...im off to find some real pussy
Toodoped: aaaaand....the retarded stalker is back again
Toodoped: For those who enjoyed the "TD's Free Outfit Articles 2023/24" thread, well thanks to @TB for making it a sticky on the first page in the OC forum so everyone can enjoy it. Again, I want to personally say thanks to TB, JGeoff and the whole GBB forum. Salut
VanillaLimeCoke: I can’t take it anymore. Everything has gotta change. Or at least a lot.
Toodoped: Screw the world bro...the main thing today is to take care of you and yours.
VanillaLimeCoke: I’m hoping and praying that 2025 will be so much better. …. for real …. Too
VanillaLimeCoke: Merry Christmas
Giacomo_Vacari: Damn, he is posting the same things over and over, nothing new. Watch out the flu is bad this year. January 20th Trump gets sworn in, and hopefully turn things around.
VanillaLimeCoke: Yeah, but they’re already planning things so he can’t turn them around
VanillaLimeCoke: Biden’s pardened over 8000 people, most of which were issued in the last 2-3 months
hoodlum: Yes, most likely 2 piss off that crybaby & compulsive liar now sadly in office.
Jason1969: Hey! After applying months ago, I finally got my button and was accepted as a member!
VanillaLimeCoke: Congrats

Here I was thinking I'd be REALLY racking up the points @COL with how well NYY has been hitting, and winning... but noooooooo.

TUE: COL 3 NYY 1 - A-Rod (3), Jeter (2), Matsui (3); Holliday (4)
WED: COL 6 NYY 1 - A-Rod (2), Jeter (4), Matsui (0); Holliday (9)
THU: COL 4 NYY 4 - A-Rod (3), Jeter (2), Matsui (7); Holliday (4)

I had Pettitte (-10) benched, thankfully. DB got burned by Rocket (-6), and Moose put up a big fat 0 on the free agent bench.

THE LAST TIME NYY WAS @COL THEY PUT UP 41 RUNS (THERE WERE 70 TOTAL!) IN 3 GAMES -- WTF THIS YEAR???

[/WhineAlert]

you should be thankful. if A-Rod or Jeter could hit anything at Coors I'd be 500 pts ahead of you in salary cap.

Trade Accepted

#3 JL to trade:
Shane Victorino (Phi - LF,CF,RF)

#9 AP to trade:
Nick Swisher (Oak - 1B,LF,CF,RF)

Quick ANALysis: They're pretty equal so far this year, but obviously JL is hoping that Swisher picks up where he left off last year (35 HRs). I sure hope not. If this was a year ago, I'd've rejected this trade. \:p

Trade Accepted

#1 DB trades:
Derrek Lee (ChC - 1B)
Gary Matthews Jr. (LAA - CF)
Félix Hernández (Sea - SP)

#5 DM trades:
Ryan Howard (Phi - 1B)
David DeJesús (KC - LF,CF)
Carlos Zambrano (ChC - SP)

Quick ANALysis: I think this is a bit lopsided in #1's favor, and that's not in anyone's best interests -- so obviously I'm not a big fan of this trade. \:p Just look at 2006 numbers and the potential there. Even the 2007 season numbers favor DB (tho less so). How is DMC improving his team with this trade?

Speak now or forever hold your piece.

Let's think a little here when we're making trades. The first thing you need to think about is whether the trade improves YOUR team - but at the same time, you need to consider whether the trade improves a team higher in the rankings even more. Improving your team by, say, 50 points doesn't mean squat if you're improving a higher-ranking team by, say, 75 or 100 points. So unless I'm missing something here.... what's up with either of those two deals?

And even more importantly, how come no one's offering me free points?? \:p

Each deal was position-for-position... it's one thing if you need someone at another position and are willing to pay for it. But these are straight-up swaps. Why would you swap a potentially better player for another? Unless, of course, you did some research that made sense. And that's fine. And I hope that's the case.

But you still need to remember that if someone accepts a trade, and especially someone higher in the rankings than you, that HE thinks he's making out on it. Otherwise it wouldn't have been accepted. (Unless, of course, that manager has an eye on someone in the free agent pool - but still - people accept offers when they think they're getting a good deal; something better than what they have already)

At least that's how *I* think, and God knows trading is a painstaking process for me because of it ;\)

That said, again, where are my free points? ;\)

Going by the stats so far this season, the trade is fair. If Zambrano turns it around in the 2nd half, and Howard hits like he supposed to, then DB did well. But since he's giving up a 1B hitting .350+, I can't say it's unfair right now. Mathews and DeJesus are a wash. King Felix and Zambrano have both been inconsistent. Trying to catch DB, I don't like the trade, but it's not bad enough to complain.

The reason I swapped Swisher for Victorino was I wanted another option at 1B, and I think he has more upside than Victorino in the 2nd half of the year.

I'm not making a huge stink, just a little stink -- but until DMC tells me how that trade benefits his team (and assuming he is shooting to win this thing), I don't know... ;\)

Of course Swisher has more upside potential, especially when you look at last year. That's why I'm questioning those at the bottom of the standings. I already know what those at the top of the standings are thinking...... ;\)

Victorino so far has more points though.

If it were put to a vote, I'd vote against the trade with DB and DM. I'd go into detail, but I don't feel like it right now. I will if anyone else objects.

Trades should only be vetoed under two circumstances. Collusion or they're completely unfair. The trade is neither so I can't vote against it, as much as I think it potentially helps DB.

Your trade could be considered questionable as well.... ;\)

How can you consider my trade questionable when I'm giving up the player with more fantasy points, at the same positions? If I didn't hate the Phillies I might not have made the deal. ;\)

Victorino has more hits, runs, stolen bases and like he said, Victorino more points. I think its a good trade unless Prince gets hurt anytime soon. \:p

I can put Victorino in RF and sit Carlos Quentin. And Quentin only has 137 points compared to Victorino's 258.

Zambrano has done basically nothing this year, its only his last 2 starts that have been decent. Howard/Lee and Matthews/DeJesus are basically a wash, Howard has not lived up to his numbers of last year.

And to veto something on the basis that IF Zambrano turns it around should not even be considered. Right now, IMO, its a straight up trade, and considering I'm in 5th or 6th with the players I have now, I had to do something to get different players.

I never really said they were unfair for 2007, it's just hard to ignore 2006. ;\) But I suppose anything can happen any given season (I'm still waiting on Konerko ) ;\)

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol

I know its hard to ignore 2006, I drafted the players lol

I don't think you can really say this is lopsided or really unfair. Ask DB, we PM'ed back and forth about it and put up 4 or 5 different trades.

Aren't you still waiting on that 2005 Lebron Trade to pan out? \:p

I told DB I would have given him Howard for all of his bench players...but I didn't know if you had that copyrighted or anything ;\)

If people have that much of a problem with it me and DB can try and work something else out but I don't see how its that over the top.

The only potential problem is DB getting even stronger, but that's a selfish reason on my part. ;\) I can live with it, tho... I hope. \:p
