Using that argument, why don't you update this thread after EVERY post you make??
The purpose of this thread (if there even was one) was to keep something of an historical record of how many posts you had at a given time in your stay here... if it was updated on a weekly basis then MAYBE it would have made sense.
Regardless, as I said earlier, it doesn't really matter... I was just curious. I see where your coming from SC.I actually dont play the games to build up my tally of posts.I play them to pass the time in between interesting thoughts and opinions that other users are posting.Plus some of the games i enjoy playing quite a bit.But i can see why it might shit some of the users on here.That the regular gamers have an advantage when it comes to building up posts.

I agree DE NIRO but it seems some are just so adment about abandoning this section (I'm not talking about you SC). There are many sections on this board I don't venture into because it doesn't interest me. But do I say they should be disbanded? I personally don't care either way if they keep or lose the games section. However, I would like to see some games stay like the Name the Actor and Screenshot Games There are no plans to disband the Games Forum and there are no plans to stop members from playing these games. The only difference will be posts in this forum won't count towards your total post count. I believe Geoff will be instituting this change in August when he updates the boards (there'll be some minor feature changes and additions made).

Can you give us any other hints for the updates Geoff can explain the changes/modifications better (he is actively involved with the board's software writers).... a lot of the changes involve PMs... one will allow you to see the body of a PM in email (if you choose to be alerted to a PM by email notification).... another will show you a graph of how much PM space you have available. Another new feature will show what topic a member is reading (compared to only the forum that member is reading now).
