This is a little late, but I'm going to Lake Tahoe in two days. Already have a charter to drive by Fleur du Lac.

Two questions...

I was reading one of my Godfather books, and it mentioned the Communion scene was also shot at a Lake Tahoe church. No specifics. Anyone know what church it was?

Second, a blurb on the net mentioned that the Ehrman Mansion (Sugar Pine Point State Park) grounds were used for the movie. Brief blurbs here and there but I can't find any concrete evidence on the net or in the movie.

Turk, Harlan Lebo's outstanding book, "The Godfather Legacy," should be able to answer your questions. If you don't have it now, try your library. I don't have mine with me, but others here might weigh in.

On pg 224 of the updated GF Legacy it just says a Lake Tahoe church. It didn't give a spefic name.
