klydon, how did you get the Super Bowl football? Also, can you find any pictures of the campaign paraphernalia?
Nice set you bought.

I got the football from a neighbor of mine, who used to deal heavily in sports memorabilia. He had several of the footballs, which bear special indicia of the Super Bowls and teams. Apparently, there are many Super Bowl game balls, which they replace constantly during the course of the game.
The used balls were placed in an individual bag that stated the time of game it was used. My son has the football in a display container in his room. I guess it's his now.
I'll have to dig up my old campaign paraphernalia. It's mostly buttons. I got the Kennedy stuff in the 1980s when I was a law student in Boston. It wasn't expensive because it wasn't too rare.
If you're a big JFK buff, Irish, I would recommend a trip to the Kennedy Library in Dorchester, MA near Boston. I went with my brother on the 25th anniversary of the assassination. It was pretty fascinating. I'd like to see some of the other presidential museums and libraries.
