How come it never fails, on an excessively hot and humid day like today, for some old man to walk up to me and ask, "is it hot enough for you, today?"

This weather just gives me flashbacks to my childhood.
My mother in a muumuu, hair soaking wet from the hose from trying to keep cool, screaming at me to stop hitting my brother, the sound of a fan oscillating somewhere, my grandparents still alive, my grandmother cooking, my grandfather cutting up a melon, a scratchy Lou Monte record playing in the background, my pop promising me and my brother a lemon ice after dinner if we'll just shut the f*** up for awhile.

I put a sign in the women's bathroom too "What's better than spending a night alone in your parent's basement, call DMC" somehow they aren't biting though But when you think about it...these are simply girls who don't get me, when you are the boytoy to someone of Mrs. R's caliber no one else really matters...
