The Italian guilt thing is a whole other thread isn't it? Quick short story off topic: A long time ago, when I lived in Michigan, my mother called me and asked "Did you hear from your sister today?" I replied "no, why"......my mom says (with emphasis on the "T" & "F") "Twenty four hours"....Twenty-four hours and I haven't heard from your sister. Ha ha ha. God Bless her. I think she's come a long way since then, but still talk about guilt trip. I never fell into that and was in trouble most of the time with my mom. My sister did and called every day. Needless to say, I called her and laughed at her telling her she was in big trouble with mom.
