He says "Clemenza promised them ougats." Ougats is a slang term which means "nothing." It's basically the equivalent of "squat" or "jack shit."

And in the "Saga" version shown on TV, they censored it so he says, "Clemenza promised them ushgatz," as if that would spare our tender ears. \:p


Yes, you have to be careful about pronunciation. Like I posted, I can't hear it very well at all, but I would have sworn that the first pronounced letter out of his mouth was an S. Well, you learn something every day.
