that was my entire lot of trash talking for the season. I look forward to my single post of trash talking next year. That's no fun...

Well, BL, looks like JG, KL and I have moved up in the Pointless PS contest. Yep. I slept right through it. KL, I'm even more interested in your latest trivia question considering Willy is involved, but as usual, I have no clue. There was a good one in the paper here recently: Who is the only player in baseball history to get hits for two different teams in two different cities in the same day?

I believe it was Joel Youngblood in the 70s or early 80s. I remember because he got one of the hits against the Phillies. On my trivia question, here's another hint. What these guys have in common has nothing to do with baseball. Because of this common thing, they may have felt cheated as kids. The opposite of this common thing would include Billy Martin, but Martin wouldn't have achieved this opposite thing until 1989. While each of the players I named are aware of possessing this characteristic, I would offer a guess that they aren't necessarily aware of the others in the question possessing it.

I believe it was Joel Youngblood in the 70s or early 80s. I remember because he got one of the hits against the Phillies. You are good!! Joel Youngblood. On Aug. 4, 1982, Youngblood was playing for the New York Mets against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. He went one for two. After the day game, Youngblood was traded to the Montreal Expos, who were playing in Philadelphia that night. Youngblood flew to Philly and got a pinch-hit single. Both hits were against future Hall of Fame pitchers, Ferguson Jenkins of the Cubs and Steve Carlton of the Phils. BL... Wow, if I'd known I was doing so badly in that stupid contest, too, I wouldn't have mentioned it!!

Opposite of... They were all born on Christmas Day. Silly. Or were you kidding? I'll assume you were. Hint: One might think that JT Snow, Bob Natal or Johan Santana would fit appropriately in the category, but they don't. Kly is so cute with his trivia hints...even after reading the spoiler, this part had me confused for a bit.

I was looking for the wrong "opposite" apparently... I never realized that actually... And just now that you mentioned it, do I get the Snow, Natal, Santa' part of it...
