Have a GREAT wedding, a not-so-painful move, and a great honeymoon!!! Where you headed?

We're taking a cruise to the Caribbean out of NYC on the 15th. We figured we'd just kick back and relax for 9 days instead of heading to the airport and flying somewhere.

Guys - I'll be away for most of the weekend w/ limited access, so I probably won't be able to do tomorrow's update... in fact, this will probably remain unofficial since I'll be leaving very early Saturday AM. Unless, of course, someone wants to officialize it for me... ;\)

I will try to help out if I can JG. Comments and all. Whether it's "official" or not I don't know, I could use a little help with that. But I'll try.

I was going to make fun of JG's score yesterday, and didn't. ...then I had to go and 1-up him.

3 Hours until my wedding, and I'm posting on message boards. WTF is wrong with me?

Congrats on your marriage, JL! (Well, let's assume he didn't back out at the altar! \:o ;\) ) You posted 3 hrs previous to it, I'm shocked we haven't gotten a live report from the reception yet!! \:p ;\)

In other news....

Webb (45)

Freakin' Heilman (-13) blows it for the Mutts, but at least Gregg (6) salvaged some of that back saving it for Florida.

I'm sure Gina's not too happy with Lidge right now, blowing it for the Stros, but at least FCordero (8) managed to save a game on the road for once.

Poor Mig, the Yanks tour the Tribe a new one 11-2 today with the help of A-Rod (14) and his 2 HRs! I'll take it. ;\)

I can't stay up 'til the last games finish, so if no one does the update, I'll do it tomorrow. BL, thanks for doing them today...!

I'm on my brother's computer, and am gonna call it a night soon. Like, 6 hrs earlier than usual! \:o ;\)

As some forgotten wise man once said.... As you were, peeps! ;\)

Hey, it's not like this series is important or anything.

\:\(

I'm sure Lou's day was better, though. \:\)

Geoff going to bed early?? I'll have to stay up extra late to make up for it.

Hello all. By some miracle, my day went perfectly. All my vendors and guests showed up. No technical difficulties. The place we had it (Valley Regency) did an incredible job. Our DJ and MC were great.(DDM Entertainment) And the weather was beyond perfect. Many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they ever went to. While the may have been exaggerating, at least I know everyone had a good time, and the small fortune I spent was worth it. \:\)

nahh you're not that bad.

but I do believe I did some very good trades. if I hadn't made the Maddux trade before acquiring Weaver, Snell, Lowe and Dice-K I would be even better.

but you were even better the whole time before and your team is invincible.

I broke my #1 Rule -- don't use a Yankees PS, or a PS opposing the Yankees. I, of course, did BOTH today -- Wang vs Guthrie. And while I was hoping for a pitchers' duel, so far it's not quite working out that way... \:\/ \:\(

JG, here's a frustration I know you went through before you traded Cain to me. The Giants had a double header today and could only score one run for Matt Cain in the first game. He didn't pitch perfect but lasted until the seventh and was taken out of the game going strong.

Here is what kills me, the Giants then score 10 for Lowry. What is up with that?! Why do the Giants hitters hate Cain?

heh, that stupid line by Steve Martin in the The Jerk just popped in my head "He hates these cans! Stay away from the cans!"

The Giants hate Cain, stay away...
