No tongue involved either I guess. Not unless he's licking his martini glasses dry! (God, what a thought.) Just glad to hear that everyone got in safe and sound. With all that foul weather, my guess is they'll be doing their Friday night drinking in the hotel bar! Signor V.

In somerset, it was 25 miles per hour. Let's not blow things out of proportion. Maybe you should re-phrase that! Hmmmmm. Now that you put it that way, maybe you're right. Maybe he really was going only 1 mile per hour. But for how long it took him to get back to the hotel from Harolds, he could have went around the world!

Is that why there wasn't any tongue left? I don't know... if it wasn't the lightning it must've been a tornado... he said the tongue got sucked out of him.

Sorry.... this is short notice... we're getting ready for dinner. Reservations are for 7:00.
As always a wonderful get together...Mig's hubby (first time I;m meeting him) fits right in already... after two hours of drinking I better get ready FAST (for dinner)
Later Yea yea!! Let's get right down to the brass tacks here. Who danced on the table? Who got plastered? Did Cardi take over the cab from the driver? You didn't attend any baseball games did you SC? Any heads in a duffelbag, if you get my drift? TIS

Any heads in a duffelbag, TIS Actually there was! I'm serious! "Ralphie" I'm not kidding! It was really great to see everyone again. Mig is still her sweet little self and just brightens up a room everytime she walks in. Becky is still looking beautiful, and this year I had the honor to finally meet Mig's husband, Col. Slade, who by the way is a really nice guy. Of course it's always a pleasure to spend an evening with Mr. Babe, who may be the easiest going and nicest guy that I know. My sister, SB, is just a really fun person to be with and has this abiltiy to bring sunshine to all those around her! DMC did an excellent job in picking the restaurant, and is just a really great guy to talk to and hang out with. I only wish that some of the people in this world would take a page out of this guy's book and show the maturity, class and dignity that this young man displays everytime I am in his company. A true gentleman. Our very own Don Malta did a really fantastic job coordinating this whole weekend get together and in the nice guy department, is right up there with Mr. Babe. Our Don also has a very big heart, so don't let him fool ya when he posts on here. I was very glad to meet Don Malta's business associate, a wonderful guy who fit right in with this group. It's always a great evening when we all get together, especially when I get to spend time with my most valued and trusted friend, SC! His being in our company just makes the day that much more special for me. I was quite happy to find someone who has quickly become a very good friend to all of us, Signor Vitelli, waiting for us in the restaurant! His joining us for dinner brought some life to the evening as he's just a funny guy to be around. He never lets the group down because he always has some kind of a surprise for us in that magic bag of tricks that he lugs around! A very special thanks goes out to our friend from Florida, dontomasso, who was thoughtful and generous enough to contact the restaurant and have them send, on his behalf, a superb wine over to our table for us to enjoy with dinner! Grazie DonT! Salute! Salute! Salute! And last, but definitely not least, it was really a pleasure to see Beth. This is a lady that I just find to be full of fun, a lady who does nothing but laugh, and just adds that much more life to anyone that is in her company. You're ALL a really great bunch of people, and I only wish that we could get together more often than we do. I sincerely enjoyed spending the evening with each and every one of you! VIVA LAS VEGAS 2008!

Any heads in a duffelbag,
Actually there was! I'm serious! "Ralphie" I'm not kidding! He's NOT kidding! Sr. Vitelli had brought a rather scary looking head with him in his bag of tricks. (CarrotTop has nothing on our Sr. Vitelli!). For some reason I'm moving in slow motion this morning... I'll be posting some pix later but I'd just like to echo Don Cardi's general assessment of last night.... it was a VERY nice time and it can't get better than when you share lots of laughs and good food with friends.

[quote=The Italian Stallionette Who got plastered? TIS The shorter list would be who didn't. Sadly, it's over far too soon, and I have to board a bus back to Baltimore. Unless someone wants to kidnap me. I say we all run off a live on a commune together. I love you guys. [/quote] EDIT: Sorry, this is Beth I forgot to sign on. And,I'm not even drunk anymore.

I don't remember any of the 16 drinks I had yesterday... there was definitely not enough blood in my alcohol level. I'm beginning to think you have a hollow leg. Sorry I didn't get to say "goodbye" this morning... next time I see ya I'll say it. Just got home, so I'm gonna get organized and post some of the pictures/memories. VERY nice time!!
