A little bit of both!
Newcastle is the last big city before Scotland in England so we have a lot of Scots living here....
And yes Newcastle are both my home and favourite team \:D

What is your take on this Yogi would you be dissapointed if he went? or id there somone you would like to see at st james with the money from martins sale?

Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce insists he has had no approach for his Nigerian international striker Obafemi Martins.
The 22-year-old Martins has been linked with a move away since it emerged he has a £13m buy-out clause in his deal.

"There has been speculation about Obafemi Martins every week since I have been here, and he is still at Newcastle," said Allardyce.

"I have had no contact from any club, either in this country or any other wanting to activate his clause."

Martins has been tipped as a possible target for Manchester United, who have lost the services of striker Wayne Rooney to injury.

However, Allardyce confirmed today there have as yet been no offers for the player, who scored 17 goals last season following his £10m arrival from Inter Milan.

But Allardyce added: "Oba is still a Newcastle United player and the only way he will not be a Newcastle United player is if somebody activates that clause, and nobody has."

I don't know mate!
This is a funny one.
Oba has done ok for us but he has'nt set the world alight. However i think he may do ok under Allardyce. The speculation about him going is in the papers every week so we tend to dismiss it a bit now!
As for signing someone i would like to see us sign Michael Owen.......
Oh hang on we already did did'nt we? \:D

Have you seen them play? Terrible. Them and Derby for sure are going down and then either Birmingham or West Ham. That would be cool to see West Ham go down after all the shit they pulled last year.

DISCLAIMER: To all of you fans, I hope you'll go easy on me because I'm an American, meaning I have about the same "Soccer" (UGH, I hate my country for naming it that) knowledge as a five year old in the rest of the world. I did play in school as a defender and absolutely loved the sport, and have watched the World Cup the last two times even though I had to stay awake at odd times of the night/morning in order to watch games. So please, in future posts, when I ask a question or make a statement that makes you roll your eyes, it's because I'm still learning and will probably never have the knowledge you all have. I try to think about you guys following American Baseball. I wouldn't even know where to start in that sport but because I grew up with it, it feels like second nature. I'm sure that's what football is to you guys. One of these days I'm going to visit England and a football match is the highest priority of things to do while I'm there. Maybe I could even go with some of you, that would be fun! So again, please go easy on a new fan from a country that is football-dumb.

Have you seen them play? Terrible. Them and Derby for sure are going down and then either Birmingham or West Ham. That would be cool to see West Ham go down after all the shit they pulled last year.

What did West Ham do last year?
Lets just say they did some very shady things last season and it would I think be poetic justice.

What sort of shady things though? Whether it's fact or conspiracy I would still like to know.

Basically they had two players that werent really owned by the club (West Ham) their contracts were owned by a third party. It was just a mess. Thats just like the short version of it. I'm sure the others can get into further details about it, since I really didnt follow it that much.

The hosts had two early goals disallowed but Tommy Wright did give them the lead on 40 minutes.

Butcher levelled from close range on 72 minutes before Ian Miller gave the hosts the lead again with a header.

But Butcher seized on some poor defending at the death and slotted past David Stockdale in the Darlington goal.
