I love how they've got "from the director of Mission: Impossible 2, even when Woo is more well known for his films in Hong Kong. If anything, I'd've sold it on account of Face/Off.

The DVD will hit on September 18, 2007 for a price of $29.95. Features will include: -Finding Quentin's Gals -The Guys of Death Proof -Kurt Russell as Stuntman Mike -Introducing Zoe Bell -Quentin's Greatest Collaborator: Editor Sally Menke -Double Dare trailer -International Poster Gallery Meanwhile, the Robert Rodriguez zombie entry, PLANET TERROR, will attack with more footage, deleted scenes, a full commentary and the infamous missing reel. It was $23.99. I'd be a fool not to pick it up. My local Wal-Mart sucks. They don't carry ANY Blu-Ray movies. The Target I work at doesn't have a great selection, but at least they have some. It just means I have to travel 35 miles out of my way to look at Blu-Ray movies. Then again, there IS the internet.

Me too. I know before long they'll eventually force DVD buyers to switch to HD or Blu-Ray as they'll discontinue making standard DVDs. However, I'd rather HD and Blu-Ray fight it out for the winner (which I think will be Blu-Ray) and then offer both standard DVDs and Blu-Ray's only. That way all consumers are happy (except those with HD's) We should be safe for the next ten years.

Really? You think it'd be that long Paul? I was thinking in the next 5. The only thing in the favor of standard DVDs is the fact that a lot of material isn't even available on standard DVD, let alone Blu-Ray. Considering the fact that there are about 4 channels that transmit in HD format that says alot. Also the price of Blu ray and HD DVD dvds are expensive [they are about the same as when dvd first hit the market]. Finally the format war still rages on Hd DVD vs Blu ray. I believe that Blu ray will win because it offers more storage capacity per DVD.
