The Emmys are on Sunday. For the Soprano fans, both Gandolfini and Falco are up for best actor/actress along with the show for best drama. Even though I don't think the last episode will win any separate award, I'm thinking the show "should" go out with an emmy, don't you think? I do hope they win all three. I am gonna miss that show!! I helped film a wedding today for the first time. 12 hours ago I arrived at the bride's house to film her getting ready, then we went to the church to film the ceremony, then to a nearby park by the river to film their pictures getting taken, then to the Holiday Inn to film the cocktail hour and then 5-hour reception. I tell you, it's a rough gig - on your feet 99% of the time. Same for the photographer. And another videographer was there for 9 hours. That's 33 man-hours in one day spent with two families. You would think a tip would be in order...
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

Was that Justin you helped out? It was thru Justin, w/ the same company he works for, but he wasn't there. The gig was local to me (most of them are in North Jersey, this was in my town), so I went for it... Did they at least feed you?? We grabbed a bit at the cocktail hour buffet, and usually dinner is supposed to be included - but since it was a buffet (two buffets in one wedding?!?), who's gonna stop anyone? I'm not really complaining about no tip - I just thought it weird. But then again, most hosts are drunk (or broke) by that time anyway

I'm not sure if the neighbor's shrubs count as "the bride's house."
"Somebody told me when the bomb hits, everybody in a two mile radius will be instantly sublimated, but if you lay face down on the ground for some time, avoiding the residual ripples of heat, you might survive, permanently fucked up and twisted like you're always underwater refracted. But if you do go gas, there's nothing you can do if the air that was once you is mingled and mashed with the kicked up molecules of the enemy's former body. Big-kid-tested, motherf--ker approved."

Where do I sign up? Well, it's not like I sponged her back in a bubble bath or anything ...but you're right, there's always that chance to make a last-second schmooze on a single chick! But it might be kinda rough w/ her parents right there...

I forgot where you were Bogey? West Va? Anyway, I think SC was saying it was freezing in his area too. Boy, wasn't it just triple digit temps there???? It is mid September, so I guess the cool down is envitable. It's really quite beautiful here. We've cooled down to the 80's. After a couple weeks of the 100's it's sunny and nice. It may still be a tad warm to "normal" people, but I think it's perfect. TIS
