Anyone here ever been on fire? It's incredible. Yup. I had hot wings last night. The fire started today.

I just had pretty much the most awkward conversation in my life just moments ago, in my backyard, with my neighbor, who I've spoken to maybe twice in eight years.
Neighbor: *from behind fence, so all we can see of one another is each others faces* Hey, you haven't had any stray cats crawling through your yard, have you?
Me: *looking at my open door, making my music very audible from inside the house before turning to my neighbor* No... Why?
Neighbor: Oh. The woman across the street let her cat out, and she hasn't seen it in a few days.
Me: Oh. Well. No. I don't think we've had any cats. Hopefully not. We had an eagle back here last week. *Smiling in a friendly manner*
Now, that doesn't sound that awkward, but it was approximately at this time that he curled his neck over my end of the fence, making it visible to my neighbor that I was urinating on the fence with a flyswatter in my hand.
Me: *trying to make the situation less awkward* But... I'm sure it'll be fine...

Tonight I start this 6-session course at my local shitty county college... should be interesting I suppose... Independent Film Making Part I (Ages 15 & Older) Study the basics of independent film making by award-winning screenwriter and Independent Film Director Darren DeBari and learn the theory behind creating movies and documentaries, including screenwriting, directing, producing, editing, marketing and film festival submission. During the second half of the course, you will create your very own short independent movie. Students will be required to bring their own video camcorder during the second half of the course. Cost: $99 15 and up? I better not be the only adult in there or I'll look like a real ass (moreso than normal)!

Geez, video is a storage hog... just had to buy a 500GB external drive... that takes me almost to like 1500 GB now (NOT counting the hard drives I've put out of service in the past)  And I remember being FLOORED (well, like 20 years ago) when I heard about a 10 MB hard drive -- I didn't have a hard drive yet, I was still using floppies!
