The only thing I can think of as to "how" this happened is possibly long commute, heavy traffic, moody people. You get two people who are ready to "go off" and play I'm gonna get there first and end up making a long commute even longer when they crash. I assume NY/NJ traffic can be as bad as L.A. or worse. Can you imagine how pissed the people behind them must have been? TIS

I'm guessing the one guy actually at the booth was taking forever, and the other was trying to go around him because he's "so important" that he can't miss his 9am staff meeting because it was his turn to serve the coffee

It is hard to tell. I kind of looks like the car on the left worked its way into the booth area, crunching the car on the right into the toll booth. The car on the right looks like it has more damage. What about the damage to the toll booth (I assume there was damage). Would the drivers be ticketed/charged for that I wonder?  However this happened,I'll bet both drivers are kicking themselves in the ass for not letting the other driver have the right of way. TIS

Obviously the car right next to the toll booth got there first, with the other dickhead trying to go around him (typical NY'er "hot shit" driver* )... *And I use the term "driver" loosely when referring to most NY'ers... especially when they drive exactly the speed limit (10-15 MPH less than everyone else!) in the left-most passing lane on the Parkway when State Law says to "keep right except to pass" but they don't care... nor ever move over. They'll cruise along like a little old lady in the left lane and NEVER move over!
