The only thing I can think of as to "how" this happened is possibly long commute, heavy traffic, moody people. You get two people who are ready to "go off" and play I'm gonna get there first and end up making a long commute even longer when they crash. I assume NY/NJ traffic can be as bad as L.A. or worse. Can you imagine how pissed the people behind them must have been?
