Blackburn 2 - 1 Birmingham City Another win for the Rovers In the three games I have seen on t.v. I have noticed that Blackburn plays very strong most of the game, but the last 20-30 minutes or so the other team seems to take control and take more shots. Is that typical of most teams, or is that just Blackburn trying to defend to preserve the lead? I'm really enjoying watching Bentley, Santa Cruz and Samba. Plus Brad Friedel. I am looking forward to the Rovers playing some of your teams that you guys like here. It looks like De Niro's Manchester United will be the first on Nov. 10th. That will be a fun game to watch, but I can't imagine Blackburn winning. I'm sure you'll enjoy watching your team beat up on a team you don't like eh De Niro?

Warnock Confirmed as Palace boss
Crystal Palace have appointed former Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock as their new manager as a replacement for Peter Taylor, who was sacked on Monday. Warnock, who had been out of work since resigning from the Blades at the end of last season, said: "This will be my last job. And I can offer a lot.
"The chairman Simon Jordan and I are ambitious people who want to achieve."
Jordan added: "I chose Neil because he is a winner, he has a desire to be successful and he leads."
The 58-year-old Warnock has enjoyed six promotions during his 21-year managerial career.
And with Crystal Palace 19th in the Championship table, he will be hard pushed to make that seven this season.
But both Warnock and Jordan insisted they have set no target for the club this campaign, simply stating in unison they only "want to win as many games as possible".
Warnock knows there is no easy route to success and made it clear he will be looking for the players to step up.
He said: "The players have to want to give everything otherwise you will just get steamrollered.
"We have got to have desire, first and foremost, to be able to win anything. That is what I will be looking for."
Asked whether Warnock will be provided with funds to bolster the squad, Jordan made it clear that he will support his new manager - as long as he feels the requests are reasonable.
"If Neil needs something and he has a good reason for it, he will get it. If he does not have a good reason for it, then he won't.
"But I know Neil is determined to do a good job. I always used to benchmark our progress I at Palace by the results we had against Neil Warnock's Sheffield United.
"I know I have the right man. It is the dream ticket. We both say what we mean and we mean what we say."
Warnock revealed that he will be bringing Mick Jones and Keith Curle to the club as part of his coaching staff.

Yes,money is nice but its not everything! I know a lot of people who have more money than me and some of them are miserable with their lot in life. A kid at work,in his 40's,no wife or kids. Works all the o/t possible and earns a fortune. When does he spend his cash? Never cos he's always at work moaning about how hard his life is.... Some people eh?

Back to Football.. Campbell poised to replace Terry Sol Campbell is set to replace injured England captain John Terry for the Euro 2008 qualifier against Estonia at Wembley on Saturday. Terry was ruled out after a scan on a knee injury and is facing a battle to face Russia in Moscow on Wednesday. I personally think John Terry is overated, not cause im a Utd fan,but the media are going on all the time how good he his.ive always admired Sol Campell and glad he is back in the fold.

Yes Lescott has done really well this year,i remember an FA Cup game a few years back when he was still playing for Wolves against the Toon. He was still in his teens and he kept Shearer quiet that day(no mean feat) and Wolves won 3-2. It was a while ago,Bobby Robson was still the manager! I believe that Jonathon Woodgate is the best, natural centre-half in the country...but of course he is a crock so he is a big miss Young Steven Taylor is the future of course, along with Micah Richards, that young man is a monster!
