aglio = garlic
olio = oil

aglio e olio = garlic and oil
olio d'oliva = olive oil (Don Altobello says it in GF3)

PS - For some reason my Sicilian dictionary doesn't have the word "oil" in it, but garlic is agghiu. Maybe "Oglio" is correct there? Don't know...

I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! tongue lol
