He didn't play for Boston either.

That's right, I thought he was picked up by Boston for only a few days this season, but that was the Braves. My mistake.

He still plays for one of the three remaining teams.

Pitcher Javier Lopez played for Boston, Arizona and Colorado, but not the Indians..

Does the manager count? Could be Eric Wedge.

Wedge did play for Boston and Colorado but he never played for Cleveland. The question specifically states "he still PLAYS for one of the teams".

WoW! The Sox NEEDED a game like this tonight. Great offense from others than the Big Boppers (especially Pedroia and Drew); decent pitching (Schilling was shaky but he muddled through and Lopez did well); and some luck that Cleveland played poorly.

Its a one-game series now. With the Sox going at Fenway, I'm happy. I'm less than thrilled that DiceK is going on the mound, but he's due for a good outing, so I'm certainly hopeful.

GO RED SOX!!!!

I watched the whole game and The Red Sox still won. I guess the Bethie Curse is officially broken.

Tonight's game could have been called "The Drew Crew".

That was nice of Garko to hand that kid the ball. What a good memory he'll have.

Great timing Carmona to have a bad outing. Why couldn't you do that in Game 2 against the Yankees instead of a potential series ending Game 6 against Boston

I gotta tell ya.... I wasn't that impressed with Carmona in Game 2 (against the Sox) either.

He's been more reliable than Sabathia (who is the "supposed" ace of the staff). I'm telling ya, I would not be at all surprised if Dice-K pitches the game of his life, Sox win, come back from 3-1 to play Colorado in the World Series. In fact, I think I'd be more surprised if Cleveland won after these past 2 games, where their offense has been nonexistent (they've only scored 3 runs these past 2 games).

I'm certainly not hoping for it, but the Cleveland offense is way overdue for a big night... I'm just hoping DiceK sees that doesn't happen tomorrow night.

The Yankees are long overdue for a win in the division series. Doesn't mean it's going to happen next year ;\)

Depending on how many guys we're able to resign, next year might be a "rebuilding" year in Yankees terms. But I'm a Yankees fan man. I love when they win and I've gotta love them when they're down. The mark of a true fan

The name of this topic is MLB Playoffs Discussion.

Your Yankees no longer can be discussed in this topic. Let the Indians, Red Sox and Rockies fans have their time in the spotlight.
