I can't see the ground filling as no one cares about NFL..
______________________________________________________________ NEW YORK (Reuters) - The NFL's first overseas regular season game in London could have sold out the 90,000-seat Wembley Stadium 10 times over, officials said on Tuesday about the league's launch into international scheduling. Three days after the NFL announced in February that the New York Giants would play the Miami Dolphins on October 28 in London, requests for more than half a million tickets were received, the league said. "We could have sold out all the seats 10 or 11 times over," Alistair Kirkwood, managing director of NFL United Kingdom, told reporters at a news conference also attended by London Mayor Ken Livingstone. ________________________________________________________________ It's a Dolphin's home game and I too do not agree with taking a home game away from a team, not to mention a season ticket holder. The Giants haven't played down in Miami in over 10 years and if I was a Giants fan living down in Miami and I lost the opportunity to see my team play live because they moved the game overseas, I'd be real pissed. To have a team travel that many hours to play that kind of a physical game is just ridiculous as far as I am concerned. There is no doubt that the travel will effect the players.
Don Cardi Five - ten years from now, they're gonna wish there was American Cosa Nostra. Five - ten years from now, they're gonna miss John Gotti.

Well they got 500,000 ticket applications for an 80,000 stadium so there is plenty of interest,i should know i applied for 2 but did'nt get any The UK is ready for the NFL. De Niro is right however in that there has'nt been a great deal of press coverage in the mainstream papers. I imagine that might change this week in the run up!

I don't like the fact that the "home team" in London loses a home game. I'm not sure if its the Giants or Dolphins at home but either way its not fair. Every team should have the same number of home and away games. I'm sure the NFL compensated the home team financially, or else neither team would have dropped a home game. BTW, this is my first post. BOO YAH!

I seen on Regis & Kelly this morning that they had a streaker at the game. I think he was the tight end.
How about a little less questions and a lot more shut the hell up - Brian Griffin

The reception over here has been good! The streaker was funny,so were the fans booing the last couple of minutes.. Thank God it did'nt rain to heavily Just a light drizzle P.S. Dolphins truly are awful this year
