Laundry is my least favorite of household chores. I'd rather clean bathrooms.

Sometimes I feel like all I do is laundry. I've already on my 2nd load today, actually.

On a serious note, sometimes I just bring the laundry to one of the local laundromats and pay the girl to do them. Just the colored clothes, though, for obvious reasons.

Today is sheets and towels day - 3 to 4 loads minimum. I like doing this laundry, though, because everything goes in the dryer and nothing needs ironing. Plus, it comes out all soft and smelling good because of the Downy.

If it was warm outside today which it isn't I would hang my sheets and towels out. I love the frsh air smell. Plus it saves on the electric bill a little.

SB, Speaking of Downy, do you have one of those Downy balls?

Never tried it. I have two different Downys. One is unscented, because Mr. Babe hates anything that smells. I have to buy unscented dryer sheets, unscented deodorant, etc.

Oh the little things that hurt people's feelings. Starting Monday, the hospital I work for, and I assume others as well, have to refer to fat/obese people as "bariatric" patients. A memo actually went out regarding this. We needed to bring in new slippers, gowns and venodyn sleeves that specifically say "bariatric", not XXXL. We might "offend" someone. What if they don't know what bariatric means and think you're calling them old? They could still sue you for that. Uggh! The world is so sensitized.

Bariatric sounds like the patient is gassy. That's way more offensive than a label that says, say, fat-ass.

Personally, I prefer Rubenesque.

This came about because a department came down looking for our new "bariatric" slipper. All slippers are different colors, and the xl and xxl are both beige, so the departments can't tell which one is for bariatric patients. I guess obese people have more health issues, and need a slipper with more traction. (The slippers are actually the ankle socks you get when you're in the hospital). Heaven forbid someone mistakenly puts and xl slipper on them and they fall and hurt themselves.

I always liked "corpulent" or "pleasingly plump."
