Toodoped: Thanks buddy! We should continue fighting against these lying paying sites and to protect everyone on this forum, especially the younger generation or posters.
Toodoped: these days lots of people that I know lost their families and everything they had because its legit and even youngsters can chip in
Toodoped: Same as the mob paying sites...ppl pay for "Disneyland" and wiki mob stuff, something which they can find it on their own with a simple google search
VanillaLimeCoke: Lousy school violence these days. Not even a 6th of the way through September and we've already had a psychotic violent school shooting.

Well fuck me silly and call me Harry: why limit this to TV?
My favourite sitcom is definitely The Godfather. OK, Harry, I thought Part III was a whole lot funnier!

How about Jack Tripper from Three's Company? I know this show has been so overplayed (at least here), but you can't deny John Ritter's talent for physical comedy. One episode in particular, where he mixed some cold medication with alcohol. Anyone remember? His facial expressions and energy were pricless. TIS

Derived forms of sitcoms / type of sitcoms are comedy, television program, television show, TV program, TV show, or a humorous drama based on situations that might arise in day-to-day life.
So technically a show like The Sopranos is considered a sitcom.
Huh?? The Sopranos is not a sitcom! Where'd you get that definition from? "A sitcom = a TV show"?? It's primarily a drama, not primarily a comedy. Despite the fact that most dramas introduce comedic elements into the story, that doesn't make them comedies. These are sitcoms.

For those who don't think Seinfeld is funny, I thought the same thing after watching only one or two episodes. I really didn't watch the show regularily for the first couple years. Then, I started watching the repeats, got to know wthe characters, and loved it. Now it's one of my favorites. They call it the show about "nothing" which is true, but it had "something" that made it hilarious and kept fans tuned in every week. I loved all the characters except George and his dad. Dont' ask me why, but they were so unlikeable and/or irritating. I know, I'm all alone with that opinion. TIS

I still have my personal favorites, but yea, I do wish the Sopranos was still on. As far as House, I've never seen it, but someone here has posted before that it is a good show. I'm guessing it's opposite of one of my regular shows, but I'll try to check it out sometime. TIS

Oh, I forgot about WKRP! That was a very funny show. My two favorite episodes (sorry, can't do just one): When Mr. Carlson threw the Thanksgiving turkeys out of the helicopter. http://youtube.com/watch?v=XzRmwNwKVw8AND When Johnny Fever took a test, taking a drink and then checking his reflexes. The more he drank, the better his reflexes got!

Where'd you get that definition from? "A sitcom = a TV show"?? Well I didn't make it up, try searching like I did. And stop joking around, you're going to upset DE NIRO! SC might have to ban one of us! I don't have to search to see whether "TV show" means the same thing as "sitcom" Of course sitcoms are (usually now) TV shows, but, that doesn't mean all TV shows are sitcoms! And if SC wants to ban me, then he can go right ahead!! No, wait....
