He cant be any worse than your previous lot,you geordies are to demanding..At least your not a Sunderland fan. I don't really have a problem with Allerdyce. I just like spooning people's eyes out for giggles. I'm interested as to how it's all going to pan out, though. As for Roy Keane: How many times can one blame luck for poor performances?

I like both Quinn and Keane, and actually hope they stay up too, because it's healthy for our region, economically, and makes our season more competitive.
My best mate works att he Stadium of Light, selling season tickets to Mackems. If they stay up, he gets a ridiculous bonus; if they finish above tenth, he gets more.
There's a funny image I have of Niall Quinn whenever I hear or read his name; at the club's Christmas do last year, Quinn hadn't arranged transport home at the end of the night, and couldn't get a taxi, so somebody had to give him a lift in three-door car. Five people were in the car (my mate was one of them), and Quinn was in the back, in the middle, with his long legs squashed to either side. He's not the smallest of fellas.

I know what you mean Mick! Much as i (sportingly) dislike mackems i don't mind Quinn and Keane at all. Course they are Irish and not Mackemish....

I can see Middlesbrough going down this season the way they are going, what are your feelings towards them, do geordies hate them at all?

I've just had a thought: Newcastle's next manager may well be Steve McLaren! I can't see him managing a premiership club for a while, who would want him. I can actully see him replacing Southgate,One muppet for another.

Just looking on wikipedi and noticed . Highest scoring draw: 6-6, joint record: Leicester City 6-6 Arsenal (First Division, April 21, 1930) Charlton Athletic 6-6 Middlesbrough (First Division, October 22, 1960)
