I too have a dell. Mine came with "sample" ink which didn't last long. I don't use my printer much at all so was putting off buying ink (it's so expensive) :o. I still have the ink in the printer from when I got it. Thanks for the heads up. still. I finally purchased ink and have been putting off putting it my printer. Then again, the last time I printed, the copies were starting to be light and spotty. I assume your copies are still coming out good?

I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winde d, and subject to blackouts . Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver's license.

For what it's worth, STAPLES sells their own brand of Ink Refills that are compatable with DELL printers. So if you own a Dell printer you no longer are forced to order your ink directly from Dell.

As for the other problem you are having DMC, it can be because of what SC said, or it can also be that you didn't click on the "new ink" option when you tested and aligned the page when you put the new ink in the printer.

It's waaaaaay too early for this!

I really like the way snow looks. Really. It's very surreal looking... I just fucking hate the cold.

With the wind chill it's '10 degree's right now.

Our trees and lawns are encased in a thick, clear coating of ice. It's very pretty, almost surreal, but large branches and small trees, falling under the weight of the ice, are causing power lines to come down. We've been lucky so far.

We got about 10 inches of snow.

We were going maybe 30 mph in a 60, driving along, then spun around 3 times and landed in a ditch.

Sheriff pulls up "What are you doing over there in the ditch?"

I say "Thought It'd be a good place to park"

"I can think of a lot better places than this!"

$44 later we're back on the road going 20 in a blizzard. Took about 7 and a half hours for a 3 hour drive.

I spoke to her the other day. She indeed is having computer issues. Her computer was supposed to be repaired by this past weekend, but unfortunately it's still being worked on.

She's asked me to say hello to everyone for her. Hopefully she'll be back on this week.
