I love DJ Shadow. Saw him twice in 2006, along with Cut Chemist (who was better live, I thought).

I might like DJ Krush even more, though.

I was listening to some DJ Friction and MC Eksman on the way home from uni today, live at Fabric a few years ago. Top stuff.

There's an all-night warehouse party here in a few weeks; the lineup is worth the £18 ticket: Groove Armada, Pendulum, Annie Mac and - the star attraction for me - The Stanton Warriors. I might go...

Do you like Uprising Capo?

I love underground U.K hiphop.
The real dudes with their native accent etc, that don't rhyme about guns and bitches.

You guys probably haven't heard of these dudes.

But some of the U.K geezers i like are:

Task Force
The Heard

Tim Westwood makes fitting driving music, considering he does the UK version of Pimp My Ride... possibly the worst TV show ever. He's such a joke it's not even funny.

Whisper, Shadow's Endtroducing is in my top ten albums ever. RJD2 is excellent. I love Deadringer; "Ghostwriter" provides me with one of my favourite driving memories - a passenger in my sister's jeep as we drove over the Fourth Bridge in Scotland, absolutely pissing down with rain and that track playing very loud.

Check out DJ Krush - he's amazing; also, if you haven't already: DJ Vadim, DJ Yoda and Coldcut.

I know Vadim and Yoda.

I think they're on the "scratch" documentary.

I'll definitely check out this Krush buy.

This is one of the best tunes ever made, ill post the lyrics then the tune, this is worksop crew all day

Prison boy came home one day
Found his true love gone away
When he asked the reason why
She answered with this reply
If you chose the honest life
surely I would be your wife
but you chose a life of crime
prison boy do your time
late one night in his cell
prison boy he rang the bell
the screw open up the door
saw him lying on the floor
in his hand a note that read, a note that read
dig my grave dig it deep
plant red roses at my feet
on my chest a turtledove
show the world i died for love
all you girls bare in mind
prison boy is hard to find
if you find a love so true
surely he will die for you.

I absolutely prefer the live version of this over the studio. If you download it I suggest you get it live. It's available on The Doors 2-CD live in New York set.
