Makes you want to grab your kids and hold them extra close, doesn't it???

There is now more sorrowful sight than that of grief-stricken parents, holding on to each other with their children, following their son's casket down the center aisle of the church.

My son knew the boy since they were six. They weren't close friends, but were more than acquaintances. My younger son and the boy knew each other as acquaintences, but both were devasted, as were the classmates.

You're absolutely right, SB. You hold your kids very close.
