Probably not mate but whatever happens it will be exciting and he can do no wrong up here! He spoilt it for all the managers who came after him last time so he may as well be back here.. Where he belongs

Do you really think he will bring the "glory days" back to the tyne. I can't see it to be honest. Perhaps not, but you're missing the point. I was reading the BBC sports forums last night and the amount of garbage being toted about by outsiders was quite amusing. Perhaps it's simply a Tyneside mentality; or perhaps it's the sort of mentality you'll just about encounter anywhere outside of the top four. Man Utd are a pampered team, financially; if they so much as draw two games in a row they're "on the rocks". It's garbage. The Premiership consists of two separate leagues these days, perhaps even three. It'll be my hope we can get somewhere in the second league and take things from there. I agree to an extent why you might have doubts about Keegan's appointment; but I only agree because he's coming into a team which is - let's face it - rather quite weak. It's a shadow of the team he left. In short: it's his job now to make the most of a puny squad.

One club city or not, we're the hardest supporters in the world. I'll happily chin anyone who thinks otherwise. Sunderland is an entire town south of Newcastle (Gateshead's in between the two). Newcastle's gate receipts are high, but the atmosphere isn't the best lately, with many business execs buying season tickets and then not getting behind the team - I guess that's the same everywhere, though.

Atmosphere not helped by the stewards throwing out people for standing up! Sunderland is roughly 15 miles away from the toon but it might as well be on Mars for all we care..... Right Mick?
