I really want to like broccoli rabe, but I just can't. I know it's so good for you, but I just find it too bitter. Same with white asparagus... I've been there twice in my life. And BOTH times became deathly sick from their food. Wow, that's crazy!! The place here is always crowded, and never really had a problem before, so I don't know. But I haven't tried too many items as I usually get the mini-burger/salad bar combo which is great.
I studied Italian for 2 semesters. Not once was a "C" pronounced as a "G", and never was a trailing "I" ignored! And I'm from Jersey! lol Whaddaya want me to do? Whack a guy? Off a guy? Whack off a guy? --Peter Griffin My DVDs | Facebook | Godfather Filming Locations

I like broccoli rabe. I actually like most vegetables. But I really should try to eat more fresh veggie.
The only ones I can't eat are beets and kale.

I like vegetables. I love broccoli, spinach, corn, cauliflower, zucchini, eggplant. Love 'em all. Beth's right, though. Kale sucks. My in-laws love it with ham, but I won't touch it.
And Mr. Babe actually like Brussel Sprouts. YUK. But he won't eat artichokes, which I love. Go figure.

I love me some brussel sprouts. Especially with melted cheese.
And corn on the cob.
Finger licking good stuff.

I could go for some corn on the cob. You ran out of toilet paper? Ok, that just ruined my taste buds for corn on the cob. I no longer find it finger licking good.

No I used up all the pages in the Sears catalog. You're such a smartass. Especially if she used an encyclopedia.

C'mon now!!! This is a food thread where we talk about food. What do you usually do after you eat food. Well I used to have a cigarette and an after dinner drink. Now I just have an after dinner drink. But I can do without the outhouse details when I am reading and writing about restaurants and food in general.

Keeping eaating that Fiber One cereal then. I'll keep eating the Fiber One and you keep eating KFC, Wendy's, McDonalds, Burger King, Buffets, Outback Cheese Fries, and Spaghetti-o's and then talk to me in 3 months. Then you'll be begging for Fiber One!

Well how about you come over here and help me make that spaghetti carabona(sp)? Now remember, it's Spaghett I Carbonara, NOT spaghetti - O's Carbonara
